Guess the Map VIII: Didn't Color the Island Countries

Tom Crean was part of 3 British Antarctic missions so that's not it.

Edit: Is it something to do with Ireland's lack of involvement in nuclear energy. Is there a nuclear research institute somewhere with no Irish researchers (but a Monacan and an Afghani).

Edit 2: Cadarache?

New Zealand is nuclear free so it can't be that.

China and Japan are both coloured. New Zealand might scupper a nuclear angle.

Yep edited. Was looking at the previous map.

I like the Antarctica theory but would have thought Brazil had someone there.

Doesn't mean they're not involved in nuclear research (but then the same foes for Ireland). I'd also expect involvement from Korea and Brazil. Bad idea.

Searching for a link between Egypt and Antarctica brought me to a load of Atlantis websites (did the Pharaohs conquer Antarctica?). I'm not sure that's it.

Origin of artifacts in a specific museum?

It has nothing to do with nuclear power.

It's not about Antarctica, but you are getting closer by thinking about that.

Countries with men who have reached the North Pole?

Nations that have sent boats (under their flag or whatever) into the Arctic Ocean?

Arctic Circle?
80 degrees north?
Alaska/Lapland/Novaya Zemlya/Baffin Island?
Aurora Borealis?
Midnight sun?

:dunno:
