The inches in your TV screen are diagonal, your living room isn't.

With 16:9, the width is 12.8% less than the diagonal, and when you include the bezel it's more or less 10% less. So pretty easy to estimate the width. The height is 49% of the diagonal so that's even easier.

If you have a 4:3 TV, 1 inch in the diagonal is 2 cm width and it's super easy to calculate.

I'm taller than most you, awesome. I am quite an Asian giant, though I don't realize it most of the time. Got it mostly from my paternal grandfather, who was almost as tall as me.


(The low weight is due to my Crohn's, in a case anyone is wondering, but right now I'm actually the fattest I've been in almost a decade.)

Emphasis on "eccentric". Non-white people are perfectly capable of coming up with their own secessionist movements, even ones that appear somewhat bizarre, but they tend to be responses to immediate political concerns. Somaliland became independent almost by accident, for example, as the central government in Mogadishu collapsed and the Northern regions were left to themselves. The process of simply inventing countries and then spending decades trying to convince the world to catch up with your imagination seems to be pretty much unique to the pastier parts of the globe.

Well there are multiple strains of Cascadian independence. There's the regular, Canada-esque style which I'm an advocate for then there's the white supremest version and the communist version and one version that advocates joining with an independent California.
