Hi. Im new and I suck. So without further discussion, how in God's green earth does one lift a trade embargo against another culture??


I searched the manual, I searched the civilopedia, I searched the CivIII.com FAQ, and I searched this website, and I havent found one single word on how to lift an embargo!


Can someone help the newbie? I'd really appreciate it!

Hi Suicidetaxi, welcome to the club. We're all newbies here, cause the game is new.

To lift a trade embargo, contact the civ who you have it with and then look on the bottom of the trade screen. There should be two buttons: "New" and "Active". Click Active. The trade embargo should come up. If the 20 turns have expired (and the user interface will tell you if it has or not), you can click on that line and cancel it.
