I've tried it, but then I'm so poor I get up an hour before I go to bed eat a handfull of cold gravel work 25 hours down pit and pay foreman for 'privellage, and I come home and my father slits my throat with a rusty knife.

It tastes great when fried to a point of almost being crunchy. If tastes real bad when the pieces are soft and red. Pour some ketchup and cover with dry bread to make the best spam sandwich.

I never had it, and I think you'd have to look in very special "delicatessens" to find it in Sweden...

I think it tastes good. I like to make a sandwich with it by putting slices of it on a piece of bread with a couple slices of cheese.

In keeping with the midwest thing, I've had spam a few times on scout trips and campouts...usually with bread and cheese. I've eaten far worse things (like say, MREs)...but I'm in no real hurry to eat it again
