Folding shirts? Isn't that what one's valet is for? :smug:

dryer:sad::sad:

You should hang your clothes outside to dry.
I live in the bottom floor of one of those older-style apartment buildings. If I put my clothes outside, they'd either be stolen or they'd get dirty from being on the dirt outside my window. Besides, drying my clothes in the dryer means I don't have to iron them.

Then I agree that you cannot put your clothes outside to dry.

I find that drying in the wind removes the creases better than a dryer.

Not only do some apartments not have balconies, but (in my case) even if one does have a balcony, the tenants aren't allowed to hang clothes there.

Maybe you should talk to the other tenants and if they agree approach the landlord to change the rule.

I'm not sure the landlady actually has the final say, as the actual company that owns the buildings is in Edmonton. I guess some people would find it handy to have a small clothesline on their balconies, since each building has only one washer/dryer for 18 units. For me, if I want to air-dry something I hang it up in the bathroom and open the window.

When you hang them its a big row of black :D
Ah, but I can flick through them with ease, and thus make my daily selection. Which, it being winter, will be immediately hidden behind a hoodie. So... Maybe only useful for eight months of the year. :crazyeye:

I laugh at how the OP gives a T-shirt and long-sleeved shirt example as two different styles...?

I do a mix of hanging shirts, T-shirts would always be the easy way, but for long-sleeved shirts, more towards the "fancy way" with keeping the sleeves aligned. (And also I don't even see how you could do a t-shirt the "fancy" way anyway as the sleeves are negligible).

It didn't show up well by the photos, but this is what I meant by the "fast" way:

I just keep them in laundry baskets on the floor. Which is definitely an improvement on when I used to just keep them on the floor.

Instead of folding stuff I got married.
...and you get dinner too.

Well I picked fancy way and I hang all my shirts.

T-Shirts get the proper folding treatment, it's noly 30 seconds and saves on the ironing (PROTIP: Fold clothes before putting them into the dryer, saves on ironing).

Collared shirts get the hanging from a hanger treatment.

All black? So... you're an emotionally challenged emo or a constantly depressed goth? :p
Overgrown metalhead. The rest of my attire is slightly more varied, although little more grown-up. ;)
