I stay active by biking and jogging in the summer, and during the winter doing indoor exercises. I also play soccer (football) and I skateboard once in a while. I also enjoy walking, but I would do it more often if I had people around me that wanted to walk as well.

All right, this thread has inspired me. Time to get the blood pumping.

Sweet! In what direction?

I'm glad someone finally voted for jumping rope. I've been thinking about trying it on days when the weather discourages walking.

Running and gym workouts. I mostly aim for 30mins to 1hr of doing something vigorously.

Well, I'm trying to increase baseline activity, so while reading journal articles today I walked around the lobby instead of sitting in front of my computer. I'm also trying to get back to my 5/week gym schedule, alternating cardio and weight lifting. Even if it's just a half-hour a day, that's way more than I'm doing now.

I try and gym 4 times a week. It used to be 6, but the working life has taken over. Now I just about manage 3 and then a run outside once a week. I'm going to get into some training soon though for another half so it'll motivate me a little more.

how about between Jumping Rope and Other :p

The only thing close I do to exercise is take the dog out for a walk. I did think of doing more exercise but I don't know where to begin.

I walk 2-3 miles per day.

Before my eye surgery I spent 90-120 minutes in the gym three times per week.

I run and/or hit the gym 2-3 times a week if possible. On weekends I'm frequently out taking pictures for several hours, and I usually end up getting a pretty good workout from schlepping my camera and tripod around. I use our pool in summer.

I used to cycle a lot. You'd think Austin would be a great place for that, being Lance Armstrong's home town and all, but I happen to live in a neighborhood that isn't very bike-friendly.
