Yeah I wanted to try the direct route to Europe but realized my mistake and gave it to a nearby African country for free but they were like the puppy you tried abandoning off in the distant countryside but found its way home.

Hey France, I'm in your base, killing your dudes.

Basically I got tired of France expanding into my HRE, and as emperor I took it upon myself to take them on while they were tied up in a war with England. Built up a huge army, and basically threw my entire army at almost all of France's soldiers, and ended up massacring them. Castille was opportunistic and declared war on them, so now I'm calling on all my vassals to join the fight, Burgundy, Aquileia, and Bohemia.

I inherited both Pisa and Hungary through personal unions.

Prussia was originally where Prussia should be, but got kicked out by an alliance of Brandenburg and Krakow, so now they are in Ukraine where they had been colonizing land from the Golden Horde.

Syria's a beast in my game. They managed to take on France and win a white peace.

Well, anyways, here's a current screenshot:

Not a whole lot as changed. The Cornish Revolution failed after 40 years of occupying England (they never went for a peace treaty even though they had a warscore of 90% ). So England frees herself, builds up a surprisingly large army, and then in the stupidest decision I've seen the A.I. do in a while, they declare war on me. 5 years later, everyone who was on England's side ended up my vassal (Epirus, Norway, Naverra), and I took three provinces from them that cleaned up my borders a bit.

Now, since my last game, everything does look a tad nicer. Syria's cleaning up the Middle East. Western Europe has pretty much been consolidated. Hesse is doing a pretty good job of nabbing up everyone in the central HRE. The only place still a mess is goddamn Eastern Europe. Bohemia, Prussia, everyone there has borders that are ugly as sin.

EDIT: Forgot to mention this about Syria, but they have managed to hold on to European territory for quite some time now. It's hard to see, but in Northern Italy, Syria has Parma under it's control, which I find hilarious
