Honestly, after playing MM on HttT...
I don't like how slow it is to progress, ofc, it's not nearly as bad as it is to some people, but i didn't liked the game speed at all.
And then, DW has MEIOU anyway.

I finally decided to play this game. So far, I'm playing as England, and I manage to occupy all of Scotland. However, the French took my provinces in Aquitaine, and I'm torn over just being apathetic or going and sending an army to reclaim it.
I am curious what version/mod of EU 3 is da best and where to download it from? Thx.
Is a France MEIOU game challenging AT ALL?
I tried it, saw France having a 30K army at the start. Seems rather a bore... I guess i could go for Napoleon's empire, but even that should be dead easy with such an army from the start and weak nations all around you.

Don't overestimate France, it starts kind of bad, you can make it better tough

I might try England. I know it would be dead-easy, but i plan to be aeons ahead of everyone else (i guess that would be easy too, but might be fun running the huge empire and fleet).
Playing as Byzantines i am familiar with difficulty in euIII (although MEIOU makes the game a lot easier than the standard Divine Wind, which in turn was not that impossible either).

How about the thousands of popups? Aren't they annoying?
And all the stacks that spawn, they're often >20 or >30, I mean, I can fight them, but it's still a pain. They just spawn everywhere and for example islands and mountain regions get screwed because either there aren't enough troops or they take too much to quell the rebellions.
