Infamy makes me bored as I have to wait for it to go down.
You just fail at infamy management then, look at Prawstar DW WC AAR whiout going over the infamy limit
Really, i myself like to wait to keep infamy lower, as not everything is war in this game and low infamy means better diplomacy and less people hating you.

Well, I'm not Prawnstar, and war is most of what makes EU3 fun anyway.

EUIII is not HOI, it is not a war game.
Saying that war is the most fun of EUIII is a pathetic excuse to using cheats.
There is colonization, trade, diplomacy, building your infrastructure, watching events you might be interest in (ie developments in Scandinavia) and a lot of other things you can do.
Besides, land-grabbing is not the only option in a war.
Even then, speed 5 is a monster, also if you can only play like this, never try multiplayer.
If all this fail, my guess is that you think the game is meant to be played like if you are a steppe horde.
Colonisation, Trade, Diplomacy, etc. just involve button clicking with little brain-work, I don't like just sitting, staring at the map and occasionally clicking something. While land-grabbing isn't the only option in a war, it's the most effective way to weaken rivals and make better-looking borders.

Really? Sending your troops in one direction to siege a province with one of the most powerful countries in the game does not need a lot of brain-work as well, by your logic.
And yet you fail to unify Russia whiout cheats? Most players don't need cheats to keep the game running and counter infamy.
Besides, at speed 5 whiout many pauses (players who prefer to play at a faster speed pause a lot, especially in wars) the game will progress very quickly, and want it or not, you're Russia, you'll have to colonize. And from what i have seen you're the typical player who uses gamey methods, so why not abuse PUs to avoid infamy?
And no, you don't need to be Prawnstar to manage to play whiout cheats, unless you are using cheats for testing/messing in the world.
As for MP not working to you, really? It is either because you messed up something in the files and are not getting the correct checksum (or simply don't have the same patch as the other player(s) or an issue with your PC, usually caused by installing the game inside the Program Files folder in Windows 7 and not having administrator rights or not allowing changes in the EUIII folder itself

Really, there is nothing impressive in posting an empire built by cheats and not by the player.
Also, where did i attacked him for being a more casual gamer? I said he could have forced PUs instead of using infamy cheats. Do not try to blame me for something i have not said.

I don't have to agree or disagree, he's in a EU3 thread and he can post whatever he damn please regarding EU3, there's no "console commands are forbidden" rule AFAIK.
Unlike his posts, your attacks to his content aren't contributing anything.

Really? Isn't it interesting that you act like if he wasn't discussing as well? His posts contributed as much to the thread as mine.
As for posting games where cheats were used, do you think most of the players accept somenoe who uses cheats to post his "empire" in a thread like this one? Really, try doing that in the Paradox forums, where there is a lot more EUIII players, there were similar discussions in the past and it was not nice, i don't think people will even consider your post a valid one, they never did. Some will ignore, but some will openly speak against the posting of this kind of screenshot, like i have done there.
If you use cheats, keep it to yourself, i'm not the only one that doesn't likes it and a lot of people use the console to mess with the game, but keep it to themselves. (or post in the strange screenshots thread when something is interesting)
There's no need for a rule to exist, that's common sense.
Also, why use cheats to try to form Russia the earliest? You'll not beat any records (earliest formation is 1406 in vanilla, IIRC) and the game lasts until 1821. (and more in D&T/MEIOU)
No wonder people usually don't continue playing a save file until 1821, they think everything is a race.

IMO cheating takes away from the fun of the game by making it too easy, but if WIM wants to do it and post it that's nobody's problem except his, he has every right to do it. Of course it does detract from what we perceive of him as a player, but no need to criticize him.

Depends, in Kaiserreich i suggest Russia, lots of fun, possibilities and potential, but it may be too hard to handle, so Austria is great as well, but again, may find itself into a hard war early if you plan to centralize the empire (If you suceed you can be a monster tough)
In vanilla i think Brazil seems good for learning the basics, isolated and stronger than its neighbours, so you can play peacefully whiout problems, USA is also a good option, but you'll be more influential and find yourself at war eventually, willingly or unwillingly.
I think i will create a Darkest Hour thread in order to avoid filling this thread with off-topic.
