Living for ever would get boring.
'so what do you want to do today? I want to go to paris'
'we've already explored paris, not to mention every city ever'
'oh well lets go to mount everest.'
'we've already climed every mountain at least 27 times'
at which point I would kill myself.

There are planets besides Earth. Probably billions of them. By the time you're done exploring, the Universe will already being going into heat death. And that doesn't even count the amount of time you could spend doing other things...

I've never really feared death. When it's my time it's my time, and until then I'm just going to live my life to my enjoyment. I said 100 purely because I like living; not because I fear dying.

One hundred years isn't that much for liking living!

Really depend on how healthy I am. Death is pleasing when the pain of constantly being sick becomes overwhelming.

I voted forever, but I'm having second thoughts. If, at every moment of my life, I had to make the choice between being alive forever, and being dead forever, I would probably not have time for much else.

Could you really be that much of a coward?

It kinda ruins Hemingway, Cobain and others (I can't remember the 3rd person that it wrecks a hero for me). They would be far greater having receded into oblivion.

if you are destined to live forever it isnt really cowardly to kill yourself.
mor an act of boredom.

Death should not be something you choose. If you choose, or opt, for death then you are weak and cowardly. It is our responsibility to do as much as we can in this world; sometimes circumstances might require our death (as a sacrifice to the greater good) or cause it... but to pick death as an outcome in freewill (without absolute need... like suicide) is real crap.

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Spoiler :
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I don't care if you are going to live forever. You still have a responsibility to your fellow man to try to make this world a better place and to not give up.

He-cattle poo.

That sounds nice and noble and crap but it isn't necessarily the case in context. No thanks.

People fear things because they cause pain or death. If you can overcome your fear you are brave. It isn't cowardice that motivates them, its dislike of the world or circumstances around them. How can you call anyone that stares death in the face a coward?

It is our responsibility to do as much as we can in this world
That's your opinion. I've yet to receive my list of responsibilites in this life from any authority I recognise.

All we need to do in life is eat, sleep, defecate, and propagate. Everything else is entertainment. Actually its all entertainment.

I don't care if you are going to live forever. You still have a responsibility to your fellow man to try to make this world a better place and to not give up.

No you don't. People don't inherently owe one another anything at all. People are disallowed from doing certain things to one another but we aren't forced to do anything for anyone against our will.

Its not giving up. Its giving the middle finger.

I should be immortal. Maybe not. I'm not so sure myself. Living forever is as scary as sleeping forever. I guess I'll live for 514 years, tie myself to a space ship and launch to space live on national TV.
