How many national anthems can you sing all the way through? By all the way through I mean the commonly sung parts, not the full multi-verse version.

I know O Canada (English and French) and God Save the Queen all the way through, much of the Star Spangled Banner and Das Lied der Deutschen, and the first few lines of La Marseillese.

I only know 1--Star Spangled Banner--but if i wanted to learn others id just google em but i see no point in knowing em

O Canada, God Save the Queen and the Star Spangled Banner. Some better than others. But passable in a drunken sports event kind of way.

Only star spangled banner here too. Hooray for american chauvinists! ;)

Actually, I would like to learn a few more but I don't see myself doing it any time soon.

I've never made an effort to learn any other than O Canada, just had enough exposure to the others to learn them by "osmosis".

Star Spangled Banner

O Canada... dumdumdumdumdada... maple trees and bea... vers, we have it aaaalll
Right?

The real question is how many of the melodies I could recognize... 2? I guess empty nationalist ditties aren't my forte'...

I could probably sing the Polish national anthem, the maple spangled banner.. I know the entire melody of the American anthem and could hum that..

And I'd be able to recognize the French, German, British, Russian, Turkish, Serbian (it's a Polish anthem ripoff, or at least it used to be), and some others.

Zero.

Absolutely zero.

I know the melody of the Star-Spangled Banner, can sing the most famous verse, and can play it on the trumpet.

I know the melody of La Marseillaise and know most of the first verse and all of the refrain.

The others? Uh, no.

All the way through? Just the brazilian one.

BTW the brazilian anthem is actually composed of two parts, but just the first one is executed in WC matchs so I guess that's the only one football fans are familiar with. Most brazilians know that there are two parts, but can only sing the first one. I would bet over 90% of the populations does know the lyrics of the second part.

Melodies, probably the US, Candian, UK, French, and old Soviet anthems.
Singing, only US and Soviet.

I remember the only verse of the Star-Spangled Banner that is ever sung, as well as the three verses of the Deutschlandlied that Fallersleben wrote.

If you count past anthems, then I know 5 fully and I can sing a good part of other 4.

If you don't, then it goes down to 3 and a good part of other 4 anthems.

The 3 I know fully - Romania, Albania (ripped-off from an patriotic Romanian song, know the lyrics in my language only), EU (Ode to Joy is simple and beautiful).
The other 4 -> French, British, Italian, Russian. Don't know all the words at the British, Italian and especially Russian (where I only know the melody, very very few words here and there).

I'm a musician, that's why I know so many. :)
