Well, I just got back from Chicago and it was very sunny and warm. Too hot, in fact, some days.

I despise summer and everything that happens in it. I hate hot weather, light evenings, barbeques, and (worst of all) loud people who spend all evening in their gardens playing loud music and being loud. I hate loud people!!! Some parts of this summer were far too hot, but there's been more rain than usual too so that was better. Last summer was worse - the hottest on record. Fortunately it's not too long now until autumn, which is my favourite season.

Great summer. I would rank it at about 10. I went to visit my hometown in north-western Bulgaria. I also posted some pictures in another thread.

Summer lasts until 1st of October for me. Unfortunately, the weather won't last have as long. This summer was pretty average. I did absolutely nothing and am loving every minute of it. I'm in no hurry for this summer to end, but I'm not particularly excited either. So it's pretty average.

I refuse to vote since summer isn't over for a month or so In fact I leave for my "summer" vacation on sep 22, so this summer can become even better (it's been above average so far, but then all except one of my summers have been above average )

I go back to uni on Wednesday September 8. I don't know what kind of meth-pumping anal explorer decides to start school on a Wednesday, but the sooner; the better.

I had a pretty good summer. The midwestern weather wasnt so great (waaay more cold then it normally is, so I wasnt able to swim too much), and I spent more time in front of a computer then I would have liked, on account of my employment, but other then that, I had a lot of fun.

Unlike what appears to be the rest of CFC, I didnt go to Chicago, (My trip was in late april, which confrimed my view of Chicago being one of the best cities in America to vist, but I digress) but I did do some pretty neat stuff. I got to go camping on lake Oba in the Canadian Wilderness, living off whatever northern pike I could catch, and granola bars. I made almost 2000 from drums and computer work, (and now will switch to drums almost full time), and helped re-start my high school's marching band program after a 2 year hiatus. I've got to spend a lot of time with my friends too. cant ask for too much more, except for maybe some warmer and dryer weather

This summer flew by, however, it was filled with too much pain, not enough food, too many drugs, not enough fun, and it just plain stunk.

I gave the summer an 8 so far, even though weather-wise it was worse than most other summers. But I've been to some music festivals, finished my university life by ending my final paper (or diploma thesis) and have a new relationship since about June. Which makes bad weather more than bearable.

Compared to other summers it was not a 9 or 10 since I've mostly been abroad in previous years and those summers were close to perfect.

Dude, that was the best summer I have ever had-I travelled alot,went to many parties,spent very little time at home("I'm at war with my parents"),I found some1 to love ,I got a new Trial bike...i can just keep writing all the good things that happened this summer forever...

I had a great time at my two summer camps this year, took a brief Japanese language class and hosted a Japanese student, got to have an internship at a local computer repair store, and although I had (and still have some) work over the summer for a class I'm taking this coming school year and work related to but not at my internship, I've still had plenty of free time to do whatever. Ah, mostly bliss. So, I gave it a 9 - not counting the last week and a half of summer vacation that I still have to go, of course.
