If Al Gore jumped in the race last minute, would you vote for him?

If Gore joined the election would you vote for him?

  • I'd vote for him in the Democratic primary but not in the election (I'd vote Republican)

Simple question. Vote in the poll and post why or why not!

I see no poll. But answer is no. I cannot pin down why, just a "gut feeling" it would be wrong thing to do.

If he was in the race now, I wouldn't vote for him; I don't see why I'd vote for him if he jumped in at the last minute...

But then, I'm not planning on voting in the Democratic primary anyway.

The poll is made only after the thread is made. So it will be forthcoming.

And I highly doubt I'd cast my vote for him, at least in the primaries. It's too early to think about what to do for the general election, since the final combatants haven't been selected, yet.

No, I don't like voting for a hypocrite and a previous loser.

Obviously, I would not vote for him either in the primary or the general election.

On a side note, I just can't help thinking of that legendary Hank Williams song whenever I think of Al.
Spoiler :

BECAUSE HIS HEART WAS MADE OF KNOTTY PINE

SO SHE COULD NEVER ANSWER YES OR NO
AND THEN ONE DAY A WEALTHY CUSTOMER BOUGHT THE INDIAN MAID

JUST STANDS THERE AS LONELY AS CAN BE
AND WISHES HE WAS STILL AN OLD PINE TREE

Voting is for chumps!

Who seriously wants Al Gore to run? The man's a balding loser who spends his time making crappy documentaries. Surely Obama and Clinton are better candidates - heck, even Edwards would probably do better in the general election.

I would've voted for him in 2000 if I had the chance.

No, I wouldn't in 2008.

I'd not vote for him in the primary, but assuming he won the primary, I'd vote for him wholeheartedly over any of the other main candidates from the other side.

Basically my stance.

Just to see how much time he'd spend under the desk sucking his thumb. :sarcasm:

I'd vote for him if and only if it would make you happy narz baby. :)

i would

he is pretty sexy even though he is getting fat

I wouldn't vote for him in the primaries. A last minute jump in with no platform, campaigning on recognition and the "ooh shiny" factor alone, is a recipe for disaster.

AHEM, Fred Thompson.

Also, campaigning on "inevitability" is a disservice to the voters.

AHEM, Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton.

Basically he should have entered at least last month if he was interested. I don't think he's going to join now.

But if he somehow won the primaries you bet yo ass I'd vote for him over Mormney or July Annie or Frederick Of Hollywood. Cuz he's still 30 times the American they all are put together.
