If I'd told you four years ago...

I don't think that's paranoia. I think all those things are probably true. To a certain extent. Though the chips in the bodies, apart from dogs, are still to come, I hope.

Don't worry Borachio, our government is too incompetent to do any of those things if they tried.

While OP stands for overt paranoia in this case, it should be admitted that there are worrisome developments in the direction he's pointing.

I agree. Ironically these blatant overreactions make it easier to sweep the genuinely worrying things under the rug.

i for one didn't know xrays and electronic technologies, particularly banking transactions, existed 4 years ago. good catch!

Thank you OP for having guts!

I read a week ago that the contrails would be sprayed and it would rain this thrusday...and look at south California it is raining... !

Sarcasm aside.

The contrails do have an effect on the local climate. After 9/11 when all the fights in and out of Murrica were re-routed to the Socialist Republic of Canuckia, they found that the temperature of the daytime was 1 degree higher than it should have been and the night temperature was 1 degree lower.

- There would be RFID chips put in our electronic devices, cars, and IDs

It's to keep track of inventory. Little Jonny takes a gadget and then his mom finds it in the cart when they get into the food aisle, "No, Johnny" as she takes it out of the cart and then leaves it behind some sugar. Little Susie walks into the electronics aisle wanting to buy that gadget and the worker in electronics can't find the gadget despite the computer saying there should be one in stock.

No, they don't run around neighborhoods scanning houses for how many Wal-mart products your house has. Best Buy and Shopko asking me my Zip code after every purchase accomplishes the same thing.

- There would be thousands of spy drones spying on Americans

I saw a recent map of all 'drones' authorized to fly in the US. 'Drones' just means radio-controlled. UW-Madison taking pictures of a flood zone I wouldn't say is 'spying'.

- Cops could access the data from your cell phone by driving next to you and track your location

Key word is 'could'. They can track your location without driving next to you if they know your number. Good things have happened because of that such as saving lives and solving crimes. How often has it been used for nefarious purposes?

- There would be naked body radiation scanners in airports

Ewwww..... Though isn't the radiation pretty harmless (like eating a banana) ?

- There would be TSA checkpoints found throughout major cities

Like at every airport?.....

- That the government can track every single debit/credit purchase you make

Please tell me when they do this except in criminal investigations?

Use cash and stay 'off the grid'.

- RFID chip implants in the flesh have been FDA approved and promoted in mainstream media

I think I remember them being approved, but where are they being promoted (except in pets)?

- The government could detain and execute you without trial

One person was 'executed' (drone strike), and he was a terrorist recruiter never planning on returning to US soil in a country where arresting him would have been near impossible.

Don't recruit people to kill your 'fellow' citizens if you don't want a bomb up your rear.

- FEMA Camps would be in the mainstream news and their existence acknowledged

Are you talking of the temporary housing for hurricane victims?

- The government would shut down alternative media sites

What are you talking about? I'm sure they were shut down for more than just providing news.

- The government would track every single thing you do on the Internet and create a profile of you

Wasting their time for 99.99% of people if this is what they do and it's not more speculation of what they could potentially do, or because they are investigating someone for some other reason.

No, these type of things are the only things our government seems competent at doing.
Yeah, the government is only always competent at doing the things you don't like.

The Final Warning

I went to bed in America,
land of the Free.
I woke up in Obamina,
no freedoms for me.

Black choppers overhead,
drone strikes abound.
If you speak out you're dead,
through cell phones you're found.

They watch you through google
and outlawed the lord.
They took my poor poodle
and forced her to abort.

Stock up on ammo,
horde all the guns.
When he's not shafting a camel,
this land Obama runs.

Resist all the roundups
or to deathcamps you go.
This land needs a cleanup-
this much we know.

Throw out the dictator,
before he kills this land.
He is beholden to labor,
we all know he's mad.

It is not too late and the die not set;
time remains, we can still change our fate.
Heed the libertarians all over the net -
but do not argue, we do not debate.

Days of privacy are pretty much over. If someone wants to find you, be it governments, groups or private individuals they will, unless you sequester yourself in some godforsaken, backwater country or near a warzone.

Source. I call bogus on the statistical relevance of this.

Luckily, I get paid in Sorosbucks for my job as a FEMA Camp Enhanced Interrogation Specialist. The government can't track those.

My responses:

- There would be RFID chips put in our electronic devices, cars, and IDs
- RFID chip implants in the flesh have been FDA approved and promoted in mainstream media
- There would be naked body radiation scanners in airports

Sweet, those are pretty good things.

- There would be thousands of spy drones spying on Americans
- Cops could access the data from your cell phone by driving next to you and track your location
- There would be TSA checkpoints found throughout major cities
- FEMA Camps would be in the mainstream news and their existence acknowledged
- The government would shut down alternative media sites

- The government could detain and execute you without trial

Technically speaking, as long as they go through the correct process, they could probably already do this.

You wouldn't believe me and dismiss as another crazy libertarian. And yet all of these things have happened or are happening and are widely accepted and known. We didn't even think of spy drones, but we were right when we said it would be Big Brother fascism.
