If You Don't Want To Be Bullied, Leave Your MLP Bag At Home

I simply dislike the show and some of the more vocal members of it's fanclub. I know not all of them are bad, but there are those weird individuals (Kind of similar in Sonic and furry groups) who sort of make me wary of them in general.

You seriously think a 9 year old boy, of all people, is actually up to something though?

Sadly, their ideas are much like of the video game fear-mongers that believe that video games pave the way for the violent criminal.

In other words, MLP is but a stepping stone to becoming a furry!

I may not be a furry, but they have my support.

TBH, the idea of furries gettin' busy creeps me the hell out. But the idea of gay guys gettin' busy still kinda does as well. So barring somebody being able to convince me why either group is actively harmful I'm going to have to continue to assume that it's an issue with me, not adults doing their own thing in private.

Stick to Your stiffs! My hero is still Lord Vader ! ^^

This is called prejudice.

I've seen the error of my ways, I shouldn't believe furries and bronies are weird or whatever.

Nah just kidding, i still think they're weird.

I think that while it's good to have your own passions even if they're considered quirky, you really should keep them to yourself, especially because this can be a springboard for more serious bullying.
Stubbornly sticking out like an idiot will lead to nowhere in life, we all have to have masks in our daily interactions, and share our passions with like-minded people who accept us.
With that said the reaction of the school is obviously ridiculous, despite the fact that he kinda brought it upon himself the bullies are still the ones guilty for this, what I wrote earlier can never be an official stance.

It'll be kind of weird, years from now, when he's embroiled in nostalgia, instead of the usual "Ah, back when I played Pokemon... ah, memories", he'll be all over MLP instead of Pokemon.

He might even find useless's obsession over Pokemon weirder than his of MLP.

It's all point of view, really.

What do you mean my "obsession"? What the hell are you even talking about?

Well, TBH, while Useless did make some hard to brush aside remarks about pokemon in some threads, i don't think we should keep bringing the subject back to that situation, in entirely different topics..

Spoiler :
:mischief: this is starting to be like a monty python sketch.

Burma!

And this guy apparently likes my little pony as a kid. Is that really any worse?

MLP is marketed as a cartoon for girls, it's as simple as that. You can't expect 9 year olds to ponder over the kinds of values transmitted by MLP and whether they are gender-neutral. Even some adults don't do that.

Pokemon is on the other hand marketed as for boys and has a way larger audience.
