On that topic, if you are talking about some event that happened when the person hadn't yet transitioned, should you use their old pronouns, or the current ones?

The current ones, usually. Let's say you wanted to tell a story from when I was 11, "When Emily was 11, he...." will sound odd.

New Zealand has to send people abroad for it as no local doctors that are capable.I think they do 1 MtF and 1 FtM / year? I'm not sure of the exact specifics, but that policy should probably change.

The money's there, the surgeons aren't. They could do 60 mtf a year and 10 ftm with the money in the article.

Usually Australia was used.

I know a non-binary person and it makes little sense. They simply want to be outside the box. f-m or m-f is till inside the box.

The nb question is complicated by the fact that some who claim the label do in fact take hormones or even have surgeries, by which of course I mean the same ones that transgender people use, and many of them will present as opposite of their assigned gender even if they aren't claiming the gender. This tips it a lot closer to being inclusive of the trans label to me, even without hormones or surgeries.

Women don't have one body type.

Not true. There are many different sizing types: misses, petite, juniors, plus, etc. Different size types have different lengths, and fit differently around your arms, hips, waist, and so on. You need to know your body and what will fit you.

That's interesting. I've gone out with my sister to shop clothes for my mom for years, and I cant recall neither of us looking for size types, or those being advertised at all. Possibly a US v Spain thing?

I don't know, I've never been shopping in Spain. I'd recommend maybe asking your mother or sister?

Misses - these are for younger, fit women (more room for hips, breasts, thighs, etc)
Petites - made for women with smaller frames and stature
Juniors - these are smaller sized women's clothes, for ladies who've outgrown the girls' section
Women's - for taller, larger builds, usually comfortable and loose-fitting

I normally shop in Misses sections, but sometimes I can find Juniors or Women's that work (usually on the larger and smaller ends, respectively)
