Later that afternoon, the Republic received the note from the Downfall Gang. Hanna Antilles started to read through. She then gets up with a shocked face and heads to gather up her Cabinet and make copies of the document. An hour later, Hanna's Cabinet assembled in her office. Though the note has caught the irk of General Ayane.

"Who the hell does the Downfall Gang think it is?!" Ayane said as she snaps the paper flat. Hanna's Cabinet members flinched. They know that General Ayane is a hard woman who does not take crap from anyone, but they never thought to experience it first hand.

Ayane, crumples her copy of the document in her hand "This paper of his? Isn't fit to wipe my ass! I would sooner spit on the grave of my dead mother than let some Fuehrer-walk-the-Earth-%#$# talk to me like that. His parodies aren't his to copy-write, He does not own them!". She then throws the paper into the trash "Who does he think he is? The creator of SOPA!?" Ayane then walks to the side of Hanna's desk, she began to glare her eyes at the Secretary of State "How the $#% did that kusojijii kechi know about the meeting that took place between myself and the Hawaiian dignitaries?!"

"They assumed that, given the situation you were in. They assumed that you were nicking 'there game'" Hanna said as she tries to calm her daughter-in-law

Ayane then folds her arms and leans backwards "It sounds to me they have spies poking around into other nations' business. Given that the French are actively opposed to them, It doesn't surprise me that they'd keep tabs on such things!" Ayane then turns her body towards the side of the Chancellor's office.

"But General," The Secretary of State offered, "The note just says to stop the Hitler Parodies."

"You don't think I know," Ayane said in a deep tone, "It's the principle of the thing. I can tell a bully when I see one, even if it's the one who hides it behind a calm facade in a note." She then places her hand on her right hip "I would think that the miere presance of Nazis would ruffle the Republic's feathers given their history with them. It may not be the Third Reich".

Ayane scans the room and noticing people around her, expecting her to do something. "Are you all expecting me to throw pencils on the table like Hitler did?". Ayane then shook her head "MMmmmmm, No. I'm not stooping down to his level. I may be pissed of right now." Ayane then curtly states before taking her seat just as Tifa enters the room "Thorvald's glad that my husband has not seen the video. If he did, you know he's going to pull all of his DYOS comics out"

"Umm," Tifa nervously says as she enters the room "Am I interrupting anything? I've just gotten a proposal from France."

"What is it that they are offering to us?" Hanna asks as Tina hands her the note.

"They are offering a Research Treaty, a construction of their Embassy, and a Defensive Pact"

"Oh good, when the freaking Nazis decide to go ape$##%#$, I am personally going to shoot that paper hanging %#%#$#%## Hitler. She then notices everyone around her staring at her with a concerned look on their faces. "Shtsurei shimashta; this is all irrelevant to the latest topic at hand."

"Well then" Hanna said with a sigh of relief "Moving on". She then takes a seat at her desk. "We'd have to think about the Defensive Pact with the French for a while. But we can accept the other two proposals."

"Why's that" Tifa inquires

"We don't want to ruffle the Downfall Gang's feathers, too much" Hanna said with a concerned voice, then turns to Ayane "Plus given that a certain Fuehrer has already ruffled the feathers of a certain someone."

Hanna then gets up and heads to Tifa. "I need to speak with you in private" Hanna whispered to Tifa. The two went to the next room.

"I'm starting to doubt if Ayane is ready to become Chancellor" Said Hanna with a concerned voice

"What makes you say that?"

"Well, she did not take the letter from the Downfall Gang, too well. Given that it's strictly a one shot parody segment and nothing more" Hanna then looks through the crack of the door "I've personally watched the video and they assumed that were just 'copying' off of things". Hanna looks through the cracks "With the elections coming up, I'm not sure what to do as Governor of the Sol system."

Tifa then interrupts her "I don't think we should lampshade the video. This is about your daughter-in-law."

"You're right Tifa, I just need to groom her to be more, presentable to the political crowd. Yet not declaw her".

Spoiler :
OOC @Thorvald: I know you may not mean it with ill intent, but I felt very hurt by that video and I took it as a reflection of your opinions on my work :(

Erm. Spend everything on claiming, and claim some random stuff in Northern Germany and Norway.

Sorry, I am a bit time constrained right now

Fegelein and Himmler strode into the hall. Having been evicted from Hitler's study, the partygoers reorganized in a government office above-ground, where they could enjoy the natural light. In exchange for getting Fegelein out of the bunker, Hitler resigned to attend after finishing the communiqué.

"Kinda makes you wonder why we didn't hold it here in the first place," Bormann muttered.

"Grey suits. Grey suits everywhere," sniggered Burgdorf, "It's like we're swimming the East River." He downed his drink in one shot.

Heinrich and Hermann conversed a little ways off.

"Hitler's letter to Coruscant got a pretty venomous reception," Fegelein began.

"As expected," Himmler shrugged, "We knew this'd be a hard fight going in." Lowering his voice, he continued: "We should take care in future not to tread the meta so much. Right now they think it's spies, but they could wise up to us." He threw a glance across the room. "I spoke with Hewel. We sent some pioneers to make camp in Argentina; we should have a base of operations within the year."

Fegelein shook his head. "I advised them against it; it's such a clichéd trick."

"What if you were governor of Rio?" Fegelein scoffed. "Why not? We could use a second headquarters if things go south here; Venezuela's already a trader and happy to accommodate us. I know it's not the show of cunning we prefer, but we might even get an ally at the end of the day. You don't think we can rely on the Leader to win by himself, do you?"

The adjutant smirked. "Absolutely not."

A set of double doors opened at the far end of the room and an officer stepped forward. "Mentlegen: The H-man!"

Hitler emerged, left arm behind his back. The party clicked its collective heels, saluting: "HEY!"

Reaffirm trade with New Sinhala, assuming the government is upholding old treaties.

We also warmly welcome Brave Sir Robin. He may proceed down the stairs and to the left for a warm (and very drunk) reception by Krebs and Burgdorf.

Due to the overwhelming demand from Venezuela, the Weltblitzkrieg collection is sold out until the next fiscal quarter. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thorvald, have I told you how much I love you?
Mm... Not recently.

Dang...

You're making the rest of us look bad.
If it makes you feel better, I blew a whole night's sleep on it. :p

Should make up for the fact that I might be MIA from today until the 9th.

1) Corsica has Spanish population.

2) Netherlands were under Spanish control from 1581–1713.
OK, I am getting really sick of these pseudo-historical justifications. Was it "Spanish", or Habsburg? There is a difference.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dachs avoids IOT on principle.
lurker's comment: He might make an exception if asked nicely

NB. I can not be hold responsible for everything I say as a lurker since my wish for chaos triples when I am in that capacity

Well, I'm here if you need me.

1) Corsica has Spanish population.

2) Netherlands were under Spanish control from 1581–1713.

1) Corsica was never ruled from Spain at any point in its history, and IRL never ever had any sizable Spanish-speaking population to speak of.

2) Southern Netherlands, or what is now Belgium, was under Spanish rule from 1581 - 1713, and really it should be more accurately described as being under the rule of the Spanish branch of the Habsburg dynasty; the population was never at any point Spanish-speaking or Spanish in culture or outlook, and in 1713 it was ceded to Austria. The northern part, what is now the Kingdom of Netherlands, fought against the Spanish Habsburg and declared itself independent in 1581; it was never under any real measure of Spanish rule except in title; the states of the Netherlands were practically autonomous, and in fact it was Spanish attempts to impose greater centralisation that led to the Dutch revolt.

Both are crap-poor justifications for christos' actions historically speaking.

Where can one find examples of this art?

History forum

Pffft, like I'm gonna search an entire subforum.

oh right.. that was the reason I was in WH :P /goes back to WH

EDIT: meh, can't find a nice long one atm but this thread paints a nice picture: Greatest general ever

As an outside observer, I'm interested as to why Spain has yet to claim rightful leadership over Athens and its immediate areas - they were controlled by the Catalan Company(if briefly), so there is an obscure claim there if one wants to exploit it.

Thorvald - before you go MIA, you will probably want to inform me how to allocate your points. :p

((Might I suggest a massive, unprovoked invasion of Denmark?))

HEY! Not "Peter IV", "Pere IV" :p

I dont really care. My armies will take over the area. Also my claims will be enforced with the army.

France is now regretting the deal...the Communist Party is already labelling the ruling Social Liberation Party as “collaborators to aggressive imperialist swine” and “capitalist pig dog cowards!” Abel may make a comment at the speech doing his visit to the Commune’s new ally.

Dont try to play games with me. You will either keep the deal, or i will invade you. You should have though that before you agreed.

As a random note, France has twice as many RP points as Spain, so any invasion would turn very lulsome, as they would at minimum have about +3 per roll, AND the defender bonus...
