Clearly it’s true that there are characteristics that distinguish humans from other animals—just as there are characteristics that distinguish cats from dogs, or turtles from hamsters. What we need to also remember, though, is that there is an equally incredible number of similarities—even commonalities—that we share with all other animals.

Some of these shared characteristics are particularly clear in the study of great apes, genetically our closest living relatives. In fact, in a very real sense, we aren’t just related to apes, but we humans are great apes—the fifth great ape species, along with orangutans, gorillas, chimpanzees and bonobos.

Honestly Dachs I probably can't help much...I have no clue who that is and from my point of view 4 or 7 are best because they're the only ones who give a hint what the avatar is about - some musician.

Also, Ziggy, nice - I'd been thinking about a user title of "thinking ape" for a while but didn't find it original enough/didn't have an avatar to match.
