Influx of New Info

shaglio: It's a joke. The Tech is called Chivalry, and many people see Bushido as the Japanese form of it. The ^H is a (very) old way of having to delete something.

The stuff in parentheses is just another way of writing the name.

The only _real_ information in there is that Himeji Castle is no longer unlocked by the Chivalry tech.

Thanks :) I never heard of that ^H thing before. Now I get it.

Add the 1UP.com video to the front page too! It has nice Sweden peace music. :)

Morningcalm: I'm.. uh, really bad at adding that kind of stuff. >< The limits of my skills are extant on page 1. :p

Also, as stated earlier, I'm much more into the mechanics of the systems than the flavor, unfortunately. That sort of thing goes right over my head (except where I know the flavor in question).

Any hints to what the new tech era might be???

The Shrine is +1 Faith.

Oh, forgot about the 1UP video.

Machinery no longer unlocks armory.

Banking unlocks Constabulary (protect against stealing tech).

Holy Site produces +6 faith.

Just +1 faith? Doesn't the monument give faith now instead of culture? What separates the two buildings now?

I haven't heard that the monument gives Faith.

Interesting. I just realized there's a separate building for culture, happiness, and faith in the ancient and classical eras (Circus/Colosseum, Shrine/Temple, Monument/Amphitheater). However, there is only one science building, unless you count the National College.

This might not be a big deal, though, since I suspect faith buildings will taper off and science buildings continue all the way through.

ETA: I'm assuming the monument still gives culture. I see nothing to indicate otherwise.

True, I don't know where that idea got from, there needs to be a Basic Culture giving bulidilng, that being Mounement

The only major change is that Temples have been swapped to Faith instead of Culture with Ampitheater replacing Temples as they give Culture.

You'll need a Shrine to build a Temple, and Monument to build Amphitheatre.

Speculatction, but makes sense.

That's how I figure it too.

well, my face is red now.

Quote from the article:
I added Faith along the way as I discovered ancient ruins and built monuments.

Take it as you will. I don't think monuments make Faith.
