Instant e-mail notifications have stopped being sent

People needing a fix… OK, stop trying to snort your screens, people.
 
I'm supprised they haven't taken an option to make a new email into account. Likely use it as an auxiliary email address should this scenario happen again in the future.
 
So this is why I haven't been getting PM or staff notifications since January. I thought I had my filters set up wrong or something - but apparently not. This is a pretty big issue for a forum to have for half a year...

One a more serious note, I miss my gallery subscriptions. :(
 
People have been asking me about Iron Pen, which requires extensive use of PMs... which in turn requires notifications of PMs being received, which we haven't had since January.
 
I'm starting to wonder if they're actually working on this or forgotten about it. Since it should have been fixed by now, even if they have to resort to using a new email account for outgoing messages.

Why do you think a new email account would help? It's likely the domain that is blacklisted.
 
From what I understand, the hosts (Atomic Gamer) and ainwood are testing the email functions one at a time to determine which have been compromised.
 
Have AtomicGamer's own accounts (x@atomicgamer.com) also been affected?
 
I have no idea of how it is being done, hence the "from what I understand part". I am the low tech admin. I expect that much of the time involved is a slow response rate between the hosts and ainwood.

Not that I know of. Atomic has all the sever controls, and I think some of the other software controls for Civfanatics; I think only Thunderfall and ainwood can enlighten us on the specifics.

Manual password change down and emailed
 
So, if we try to use the password reset function we won't get an email? Yikes.
