Agree more or less, but I still think a fix is vital!

Why do you think a new email account would help? It's likely the domain that is blacklisted.I'm starting to wonder if they're actually working on this or forgotten about it. Since it should have been fixed by now, even if they have to resort to using a new email account for outgoing messages.
How many functions? How long does it take to test each one? From what I understand, the hosts (Atomic Gamer) and ainwood are testing the email functions one at a time to determine which have been compromised.
Not that I know of. Atomic has all the sever controls, and I think some of the other software controls for Civfanatics; I think only Thunderfall and ainwood can enlighten us on the specifics.Have AtomicGamer's own accounts (x@atomicgamer.com) also been affected?
Then perhaps a "high tech admin" could give us an update?I have no idea of how it is being done, hence the "from what I understand part". I am the low tech admin. I expect that much of the time involved is a slow response rate between the hosts and ainwood.

All signs point to nope... :-/Is this ever going to be fixed. It has been ages since I got a new post notification.

Yes - email notifications are not working. So, if we try to use the password reset function we won't get an email? Yikes.
