The second post after the S.U.D.S (which out of many games I have played 3 times before and due to the power being my first power in a IOT) I declared my switching. I will need to consider detail on the nature of the Imperial Republic of Sweden but I ensure you that none of it will involve going into France.

I was going with SUDS because of interest to reviving a IOT power that I played as in IOT 9 the first time, kind of like how Jeho likes to revise playing the Papal States now and then in a tradition to his achievements made doing said play throughs. But enough; we enjoy the peace as Sone "wars" with the now non-existent SUDS.

Disappointing, looks like Sone gets Alsace-Lorraine after all. Also note to self, Ailedhoo is a vacillating switcher.

I do like tradition, although the reason I like playing the Papal States is because it allows me to compete in both domestic and international spheres rather than just the international.

Oh and because I'm far better I've found at playing CFC games that deal with domestic politics than with what passes for foreign relations. Considering I study International relations IRL thats surprising, but my assessment is that its because in a game (like this) actors (players) have much less stake and so are more willing to take risks and be obstinate in their diplomacy, whereas in domestic style games where there is a more personal stake (ones character becoming equivalent to the player himself) people act more like they would IRL.

History: Following the Great Crash of 1929, the United Kingdom barely held itself and its Empire together, always tottering on the brink of the abyss despite secession of Canada in 1932. The fall came in 1936. I know Sone is Russia, I can read when he said "Russia needs Alsace Lorraine". Bair simply doesn't count in my assessment considering he's apparently going to war with Russia anyway and pre-destined to lose to the Russian horde

Although of course I was stating the fact that Russia in its forthcoming war with the Rhine would have to go through the French (since I missed that Ailedhoo did the switcheroo) if it wanted Alsace Lorraine as a misguided indication to aforesaid Rhenish communists to pick another territory (pointing to the Netherlands as an alternative), so your confusion in trying to comprehend my discombobulating and circuitous statement is perfectly understandable.
