Firstly, The rules are made for the first map
Secondly, It is a rerun of the first
And thirdly, It would kinda be like stealing the map using it in a same style game before the actual game has come out.

The map was made especially for I&B2 To use it in a game with the same sort of rules before the game it was intended to be used for could be considered rude.

From a technical standpoint, also known as the only one I care about, if we use the new map, it might be imba for the I&B ruleset.

Imbalance in the sense no one would be crowded except, as always, those pesky Europeans and North Americans.

I'm not a IOT cartographer, so I'm not even going to pretend to understand the effects of one map or the other, unless it's "North America is too sodding small."

Plus the maps we use are usually premade. Easier that way. Yours have maybe 10 provinces. Our have like 500 or something.
