IOT Map Thread.

I think the EU3 map is fine for colonization games, which is what it is designed for.

Different IOTs need different amount of provinces and so different sizes.

Definitely. The map you want to use depends on what sort of game you're going to make. There's no "one size fits all" map.

That's not to say there aren't maps so ugly that they shouldn't be used, anywhere.

Someone hates giving England a reasonable amount of provinces!

Looks pretty cool.

What, no named provinces? Blasphemy!

Did Germany sink western Poland into the sea as a precaution against irredentism? ;)

Looks good. :)

I'll be using that for IOT: Swarm on the Somme.

That long lake in SA can blow me. I'm not coloring it.

Maybe some day this map will be uploaded in a format that doesn't require nails to the eyes to appreciate.

Also, this nifty (not very little) terrain map is coming along at a...decent-ish pace I guess.

(My eyes!!! My head!!! They hurt a lot... What have you done to them???)

Sorry, too hyperbolic. It's just the colours' first impression to me.

I like that map. Some provinces could do with some merging though.

Do the cat buttholes represent cities? If so, why are there more in Alaska and Nova Scotia than Yankeeland and other population centers?

Red terrain are cities.

Asterisks are territories with beaches suitable to land forces.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly sure Quebec is a big city, and that you could land an army in the Hudson Bay area.

And why no Falklands?
