IOT Map Thread.

All right, I got rid of the pixellation and added an ocean colour:

Some of the letters over the ocean need to have their innards filled in.

Why is the Netherlands one province when everything else is split into so many different provinces?

Switzerland is roughly the same size and it's only one province.

Switzerland being one of the most densely populated nation in Europe.

Never mind keeping the Netherlands united prevents one from rebuilding Rome and using the Rhine as a frontier.

I fail to see the justification of splitting Belgium in half but keeping the dutch in tact. The Netherlands is richer (higher gdp per capita), has a larger population (16 vs 11 million) and covers more landmass (41,000 km^2 vs 31,000). Netherlands have also had a far greater influence on history, both European and otherwise with exception to world war 1, where netherlands remained neutral.

Edit: x-post:
Off the top of your head, how many internal swiss regions can you name?
Zurich, Geneva and Bern. I can name 3.

Just three? Makes sense. I know there are 26, but don't ask me their name.

Splitting the Netherlands in two is good for the glory of Rome. Being able to use rivers for a border is always beautiful in maps, I think.

I might have a slight advantage, but:
Zurich, Bern, Basel-Stadt, Basel-Land, Schaffhausen, Thurgau, Aargau, Geneve, Vaud, Wallis/Valais, Ticino, Graubünden, St. Gallen, Obwalden, Nidwalden, Uri, Schwyz, Zug, Luzern, Appenzell Innerrhoden, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Jura.
I think that's all of them.
EDIT: Just checked and I missed Solothurn, Fribourg, Glarus and Neuchatel.

vote: Civ'ed clearly an agent of evil and the Corleone family
