IOTer Diplomacy I

Voting is now closed in all newly-acquired provinces except Denmark. Results will be posted at some point this weekend.

A general election is now underway in Germany. The vote will take place on Sunday, April 21st at 10:00 PM EST. This includes Denmark.

Also, to clarify, the ruling party is only changed after a general election. Winning enough by-elections to give yourself more seats than your current administration will not work, although it guarantees that a motion of non-confidence will pass.

The Reichstag is deadlocked! Unless a coalition forms, no party is currently in control of Germany, and a hold order will be assigned to all units.

Oh dear.

Putting out the call to the Social Democrats, too. Though I'd point out that Westminster parliamentary procedure has "the individual most likely to command the support of the House". Given the ideological bents of the House, the centre party would generally be chosen (even if they were not the largest - remember King-Byng?), so while I have not had time to review the platforms (by which I mean I can't be bothered) I would suppose the Liberals would be up to bat.

Orders due tonight?

The King of England has found the ruling Conservative party, led by an NPC, to be in contempt of Parliament. He calls upon the Liberal Party, led by Ailedhoo, to form the new government.

Movement Phase, Fall 1901

The following players, leading the ruling part of their country, must submit orders:
Terran Emperor - France
Ailedhoo - England
Nintz - Italy
Double A - Austria
Mosher - Russia
Sonereal - Turkey

A reminder that Germany is still in anarchy, unless one party can gain the confidence of Parliament without a tie.

Orders are due on Sunday, April 28th at 8:00 PM EST

Clearly Turkish Nationalists are best Nationalists.

The coalition is confirmed, and the Kaiser has called upon the Centrists, led by talonschild, to form a government. They, as well as all other ruling parties, must submit orders in 21 hours!

I'm really sorry guys, as you might have been able to tell from my lack of posts over the last week, I'm am unexpectedly busy, and have almost no time to check civfanatics.

As a result I must drop out. Should a game similar to this start back up in September I will have a lot more free time, but for now I don't have enough.

Hrrng. We're Centrists.
 Fixed.

:wavey:

Forgive me for this... as I have not contributed much to this game I think it is best that I drop.
