At least according to BBC, there are only three dead israelis from the hits - and 60 dead iranians from hits by Israel yesterday.
So ultimately there is still a sizable gap in the effectiveness.
Civilians or mostly civilians on both sides, so effectiveness is dubious here.
Terrorist attacks against scientists were no doubt "effective" from Israeli perspective.
Bombing Iran certainly seems like an act of war.
I guess declarations of war went away a long time ago and no one bothers anymore.
The latest strikes seem like a continuation from last year in 2024 when Iran and Israel attacked each other.
Ultimately Israel took out a lot of Iran's air defenses late last year.

if a lot people had died in Israel , you wouldn't have heard it . Fascists have taken over the US , they are going to have to be tough on Jews and Netanyahu if he had not started the war he would have lost the no-confidence vote and it would be elections and Netanyahu this time would go to jail if he didn't satisfy the religious extremists and the lot . This is not what Iran can do , if truly cornered . The fighting will go on with Iran wasting rockets , Trump dragging his feet , Netanyahu blabbering the Fordow facility is too deep and they need American bombers and once that threshold is crossed Iran will come under full attack . It is eventually all about Kurds and the requirement for you to fight . Hence , the engine noise the night Israel first attacked , half the aerial branch of Army of Petrol going to Aegean . Nobody is actually asleep in places .
No need for this country to fight - let alone that anyone with eyes can tell the government isn't into it and is all-around ridiculous. But I do agree that an inevitable result of a major attack against Iran would be a third kurdish country there. And the fourth will follow
