But IIRC several folks on these threads (who would know a lot more about this than me) have intimated that the Labour Party is more like the ultra-liberal party tht does not exist (on a Presidential contender level) in the US, while the Conservative Party is more like the mainstream US Democrats, and our Republican Party is like one of the more Right wing UK parties...

Is there any truth to that? Thoughts?

It's obvious there was also an element of racism in the Out side, especially with the prominent place of immigration.

It's also simplistic to claim as if it was mainly racism. Even wanting to limit immigration is not racism, and there were a lot of other elements for the Brexit (half of them being lies and ignorance, but that's another matter).
And on top of being simplistic, it's counter-productive. Trying to corner people into being able to call them racist, and them attempt to shame them out of their opinion with racism accusation, is rarely going to work, and will more often than not do the exact opposite.

The populist parties have been mocked as "protest vote" and "racist bigots" for years, it certainly didn't prevent them to rise.

Funny how you get labelled a racists for daring to want to stop this sort of thing from happening to your country, like what is happening in much of Europe.

Keep fooling around in the dark since you( in the plural sense) will never understand the anger by those who voted to leave.

Not in Britain or France. Belgian, Dutch and German conservatives usually have an overtly Christian outlook and may even publicly declare their religious affiliation in the name of the political party (Christian Democratic Union). However, there is some overlap with the US Christian Left, in addition to that with the Christian Right.

Aside from that Labour is pro-Palestinian, openly Socialist and a lot of more things the Democrats wouldn't approve off, yes.

There are quite a few Libertarian parties in Europe no one has ever heard of. These are openly - albeit unnoticedly - copying the US Libertarian party. The FDP in Germany has been voted out of the Reichsstag, so maybe they go loony and embrace anarcho-capitalism to get attention (or something like that ).
