If there is a heaven(which the whole thread pretty much assumes, for the purpose of argument) I don't think its Creator is going to be a bunch of molecules.

I reckon you would, but you wouldn't be allowed to die (I speak hypothetically here, being an Atheist).
And while I'm here: what's the (mainstream) Christian view on Atheists? Are we all evil, or to be converted, or to be tolerated, or a mixture, or other? And other religion's views? I've never really been clear on this.

I don't see why there wouldn't be rock climbing in Heaven...but I have no way of knowing for sure. But as death would be meaningless in Heaven, I don't see how you'd be able to cheat it.

To answer the OP - presumably it'd be possible to set aside your awareness of your own 'immortality' in order to better enjoy the rock-climbing experience. I mean, if we're talking eternal happiness and all, surely a little self-imposed mental gymnastics wouldn't be beyond possibility. Or maybe it'd just be so awesome (or your mind so broadened) that you'd prefer just existing in bliss or contemplating the vastness of the universe to climbing up some rocks.
Difficult to say, but then again people seem to hold onto their own versions of heaven anyway, and as far as I know there aren't any firsthand accounts to go by.

There were no molecules in the big bang. The temperature was far too high.
The vast majority of energy was in the form of radiation after one planck time. Regardless, it's still not very good to stand in such an area, as the laws of physics would prevent your body from even materializing because of the unification of the forces.

I was gonna ask what the point of this thread was until I saw this post!
Are you saying I cant do "sinful" things in heaven? then why would I wanna go there?
I mean if there arent massive amounts of expensive drugs, jet fighters for me to fly around in and hot angels for me to have fun with, then how is it heaven?
Not a whole lot different from how we view people of other religions: We should try and convert you, but we're not supposed to hate you or anything.
Why would you want to use drugs in heaven? And I don't think there will be sex there, as there won't be marriage. Jet fighters, though, are a possibility.
Like rock climbing, I don't see why we couldn't fly jet fighters on the New Earth if we wanted to, it's not like God has said flying jets is a sin.

Well I forgot to add that I want a jet fighter with an automatic 30mm cannon so i can strafe my enemys on the ground, and the said enemy will of course have no Anti Aircraft capabilities.

Why would you want to kill people unless you absolutely had to? If you'd rather have eternal torment rather than eternal bliss, that's your call.
I know which one I've chosen, and it isn't the first one.

I dont belive in heaven, but if there was a place like that, I think the only way for people to enjoy it is to be truly free. Free to do whatever they like.
Like drugs for example, why dont I do heroin now? well theres the addiction part, price is very high and also it will probably screw my body up.
but if were in heaven, then theres no such things as money (everything is free), theres no addiction and no body damage, none of the bad stuff, its heaven after all. That leave us with the feeling good part.
So as such, I dont see it as being immoral or a sin.
BTW, that makes me think, without the bad things in life, how much would we appriciate and enjoy the good things? I think after a while, we wouldnt. at all.
Hence the "good cant exist without evil" and the ying-yang thing.

I've known people who are happy most of the time and I've known people who are sad or angry or fearful most of the time. So I have trouble with this "homeostasis of happiness" sort of philosophy.
Actually, it is. Heaven isn't a place, if you're a Catholic and you were taught that, they taught you wrong.
