Tartessia:
A low marshland is bordered to the South by a river, at the mouth of this river is situated a small village - Tartessos. Stilted dwellings dot the banks of the river and West to the coast, inland just far enough to not be affected by the ebb and flow of the tides or the great crashing waves. Rafts bravely set off from shore, a net is cast into the muddied waters of the natural harbor - teeming with fish. Rudimentary signs of agriculture are apparent in the marsh; cereal is cultivated; man bends nature to his will. Dunes rise defiantly alongside the great sea, built up and brought down by the gentle force of the wind.
From this small village grew a nation. It soon came to absorb adjoining villages by the virtue of grain - or that of blood. Her ships grew less fledgling, her huts - more steadfast. The tradition of blood and grain continues as it has for many a generation - relentlessly.
