Pre-turn
Good. Let's see what we get from the Celts for Mathematics.
We get their Territory Map + 16 gold. I asked the World Map, but you know...
Since we are here talking about maps, I sell our WM to Joanne for our WM + 11 gold. Still a bit early, but it will be good for Mistfit's war plans
Other than that, everything is running so smooth that the 'Enter' button almost goes down by itself...
Turn 1 - 1475 BC
The unmoved settler starts its journey towards the furs. The dyes is actually quite aggressive a settling, and it is probably better to found that city when we are ready to attack the Frenc. I'll think about it a little, anyway.
IT
Keltoi found Burdigala between our northern wheat fields. Do you folks like Burdigala as our FP city?
Turn 2 - 1450 BC
Worker reaches Incense
The very same warrior that discovered Iron tells us that there is a cow 1N1NW of the Iron hill, and Ivory 1S1SE.
This means that we can do without dyes for a while, and better make a dash for that spot
MM Madrid in order to get settler and growth in two turns -we have to steal Seville a tile, so we need one more mined grassland around Madrid, and more workers.
Unbelievably, I realize that Barcelona will riot next turn. Increase lux.
CivAssist says we've got nothing to buy or sell. It also warns us that Barcelona is rioting -hey, I knew that
IT
Seville: Worker - Worker
Turn 3 - 1425 BC
Nothing much to report
IT
Madrid and Barcelona duly produce their settlers.
Ciudad de la Luna: Warrior - Worker
A French settler leaves Marseille, heading west. He is *not* going towards our Ivory, is he?
Turn 4 - 1400 BC
Settler from Barcelona heads east
Settler from Madrid moves towards "A"
Warriors explore
Whip temple in Murcia
IT
Elizabeth demands TM and 23 gold. I say yes, but I note it down for future reference...
Murcia: Temple - Worker
Turn 5 - 1375 BC
MM Santiago to get Barracks one turn earlier
Zaragoza founded on the furs (traded faster access to luxury for placement next to fresh water). Start Worker (vetoable)
CoL is around, and is available for all our gold + some gpt. Construction but we cannot afford it, so no two-fer. Let's wait.
IT
Santiago: Barracks - Warrior (well, we can live with a few swordsmen...)
Incense gets connected
Turn 6 - 1350 BC
France knows Currency, but it isn't on sale. Nor is Construction, so I can as well wait for them to trade techs and buy them cheaper later on.
Hurry Temple in Toledo.
IT
Our exploring warriors have annoyed everyone on the continent...

Now it is the Ottomans' turn to demand Territory Map and 24 gold. There you go, second name on the list. We had better spend this money, I guess.
Turn 7 - 1325 BC
Nothing happens. Move warriors, wait for next turn when settlers and workers will come.
No techs movement.
IT
Seville: Worker - Galley (could have been barracks, or anothe worker. Vetoable of course)
Valencia: Worker - Barracks (vetoable, again)
Turn 8 - 1300 BC
Settler from Barcelona moves towards "B"
Settler from Madrid moves towards "C"
Found Pamplona: Galley
Buy a Worker from Ottomans for WM and 15 gold
One more civ has Construction, but they still won't sell it. Only India (and Spain...) is lacking it. Let's see what happens.
IT
Santiago: Warrior - Warrior
Ciudad de la Luna: Worker - Temple (Barracks?)
The French settler is going where we don't want it. Ours is one or two turns behind; a sly spanish warrior will try to slow them down by turning the road signs the wrong way...
Turn 9 - 1275 BC
Yuk. All techs are tradeable. Let's see what I can do...
Buy Currency from France for 149 gp and 14 gpt
Sell Currency to India for TM and 112 gold (all he has)
Sell Currency to Zulu for WM and 155 gold
Sell CoL to Keltoi for WM + 2gold (all they have)
Ottomans would sell Construction for Currency, WM and 166 gp. I hesitate a little, than do the trade. They are the only ones without Currency, so they would most probably get it very soon.
Set research to Republic at min (we can discover it in less than 40 turns for a negative cash flow. I hope we can increase research soon (and build a few libraries too).
IT
The French settler is confused by our warrior's misleading indications and founds a city in the desert, far enough from our target. Of course, there will be oil, uranium, saltpeter, coal and diamonds there -but we're not interested now.
Turn 10 - 1250 BC
Found Aldea de Ribannah: Barracks
Disband now useless exploring warrior.
Notes
I have left Santiago on warriors, and Seville and Pamplona on Galleys. That can be changed, but I would like to try one or two suicide galleys. The temple builds can be vetoed too.
I haven't got a strong opinion about where the eastern city should be -whether closer to the Iron or to the Ivory. There is also some fish that could be grabbed with border expansion, so... up to Nikof
Not a lot more to say, right now, I'll wait for some discussions tomorrow
--- THE SAVE ---
silly me, I forgot to rename it...
Sorry, no screenshots -not from this PC.
