When capitalizing letters, which shift key do you use?

I didn't realize how different (and wrong) people can be in how they do things. I'm curious how people capitalize their letters.

I myself use only and only the left shift. The only problem is Q, which is pressed with my ring finger when capitalized.

Are the rest of y'all normal and use both shifts interchangeably, or are there more quirky people out there?

I never use the right shift key.

i use two finger typing (but very fast) so i just pick which ever one is closest

And while we're on the topic of keyboard typing, does anyone else end up writing "\\\\\\\\" when wanting to backspace instead? I hate those keyboards! I'm used to the big backspace.

Sometimes, but very infrequently.

Only the left shift, only with my left pinky.

Yes the computers at my college are like that, and it pisses me off to no end (since I type without looking at my hands).

For shift, I usually use the right one (98% of the time), unless it's a whole bunch of letters I need to type with my right hand, then I'll use the left shift.

Although I'm not anti-right shift, I'm much more likely to use the left one, so I voted that way.

I think Right Shift could be done away with for two or three smaller keys for symbols, perhaps an umlaut key (to be used like a shift), and something else reasonably common, like beta.

Beta is reasonably common?

I'm with you 100%.

Plus it's Greek and lowercase betas look like this:

b

EDIT: Maybe not, it's late here ;)
