KotOR Mafia - game thread

Aaaaaah. Its been years since I last saw Futurama in the TV Guide. And I'm not one to watch series on the Net. Except MLP:FiM, but it's MLP:FiM.

Look at these people – amazing how sheep’ll

Show up for the slaughter

No one condemning you – lined up like lemmings

You led to the water

Your character is dead, spaceman. No talking please.

Get. Out. :twitch:

I'd rather have mouth-to-mouth kisses with Pikachu than hear or see any more Pony stuff. Double A is counted as injured for every Night Phase until the end of the game until he takes down that… thing.

Edit: he's Double A, what am I thinking of? He counts as injured all the time.

Filly TwiDash, the Sith Janitor. Does that have a nice ring to it?

Moar discussion and more item bidding, you puny Earthling.

I think it's about time we all read a little bit of Cracked. How about we read this article and skip to number 4.

Quiet as a grave in here. I think it's one of the downsides of the combination of power roles and 48 hour days. You get a burst of activity as the fish gets hooked and struggles a little, and then the tedium of reeling in 200 feet of line. The games are a lot more fun at night, but it reduces the suspense of day. It would be better if there were a bunch of talkers, but some of them get killed off quickly, as everyone with night actions target active players to get the biggest fish first.

I reckon it's more about unlimited private discussion and a culture which considers two or three on-topic posts per day to be a decent contribution.

I've played at another site where power-roles are common and game days generally last 48 hours, but where private discussion is limited to scum teams and the occasional special power role. Over there, a player who makes much fewer than 20 on-topic posts and at least one textwall of serious analysis per day is considered to be suspiciously quiet, and is likely to find himself catching votes for it.

But, while those games are undoubtedly more meaty in terms of public discussion, it's worth bearing in mind that not everybody wants to play like that. The combination of power roles and private discussion has made for many of the most enjoyable games I've ever played, and the tolerance for relatively low activity levels allows a more casual playing experience, which suits a lot of people.

Lynch tally, I believe it is correct:
askthepizzaguy 14 (choxorn; Winston Hughes; Jarrema; Mergle; BSmith1068; Dreadnought; DaveShack; dcmort93; mechaerik; Earthling; Gone 3 the Celt; Verarde; Backwards Logic; Beefy187)
Verarde 2 (The Black Knigh; topsecret)
Jarrema 4 (SamSniped; askthepizzaguy; JoanK; classical_hero)
Gone 3 the Celt 1 (johnhughthom)

Bids:
vibroblade 3 (The Black Knigh (#1348)
Pistol 4 credits (Dreanought)

I wouldn't even mind if everyone made two or three on-topic posts if it meant that people would stop making one post a day and that simply to vote with no explanation.

That's why NedimNapoleon died. With a quite nice sum on his head, I must say.

I must also say that the update will be attempted at the usual time. Damned Thursday essay hand-ins!

No. I'm saying that he had a nice bounty on his head. But you're free to understand whatever you want to.

The question begs to be asked - if he did have such a large bounty - why didn't you kill him?

Who said I didn't do it?
