I wish we could convert all the civ3 leaders to civ4 style. it would be nice to have different outfits and heads.

I'll look into doing smoke-jaguar. By the way , I didn't do King David (yet) I just took off Cyrus's crown.

PW90, since your a skinner could you look into reskinning our mussolini? mourndraken has fallen off the forums apparently!

I am looking for someone who has poser - and is at least somewhat familiar with it - to try to port over some of the Poser Civ3 leaders to max.

Someone who knows how to export from poser into different formats. And how (if it is posible at all) to render Poser materials into textures.

One day i was able to export a poser face to max and stopped there. But was told to me that there are to much polygons to bone (to join to the bones) was told almost 20.000. I have also FaceShopPro. It creates a texture of face from a photo in bpm and an obj of the head that You can use in Poser and Daz. After You have to work on the textures cause it give a no perfect one. If You see on the front is good but, if You turn the head You see several stripes.
Poser can export to 3ds.
Was told also that You have to create the animation from new, cause isn't doable to change the meshes about the head. This I had to understand from english that isn't my language...
But if it could be possible then it could be good also for the units!!!

Hey guys ,I had an idea , what if we make an asian leader like Empress Wu or Trung Trac , using Boudica (or maybe Victoria?) as the base and replace the hair with Qin's or put in Kublai's/Wang Kon's hat instead , then put in kublai's/toku's robe.Yes this looks quite though , But the game needs asian females leaders!

BTW , whoever does these model , please contact me , I'll do the rest ( textures , bg , anim )

I have done some early development on a Mad Max mod, set in post-apocalyptic Australia. I've drawn out all the resources, improvements, tech tree and units, and so far I have implemented the XML parts. There are some things I want for which I'll have to use python or SDK. But, I have no ability to do graphics beyond simple buttons.

I've looked into the LH download database, but surprisingly nobody has made any punk rock-style LHs. You know, leather vests, brightly colored mohawks, and so forth.

Would anybody have interest in making a couple of punk LH for this project?

Hey guys,

Anybody knows how to insert a new leader head into an existing mod?
I'm far from competent.
I just aimed to add the new leader head to the "pool" of existing ones, so that then I can just open the WBS with notepad and replace the existing one with the new one (i.e. LEADER_BISMARCK gets changed to LEADER_VLAD_TEPES)

Any indication is very much appreciated.

you have to make xml files first , try searching a modular LH and paste the infos in the xml that go along with it to the main xmls of the mod

I made that guy as a modern aztec general unit in my mod. Though, you want a leaderhead so I can't really help you I guess.

Is it possible to make 7 leaderheads that looks like the missionaries in Civ4?

If it is possible I really need them for a mod I'm creating. So my request is:

- 7 animated leaderheads that is:
- Jewish Missionary
- Christian Missionary
- Islamic Missionary
- Hindu Missionary
- Buddhist Missionary
- Confucian Missionary
- Taoist Missionary

If it isn't possible to do that you don't have to do it.
