I have searched the download database and this thread, looking for new animated female leaderheads. I have found a few, like joan of arc, which are minor variants of the existing catherine, isabella, elizabeth leaderheads.

Are there any other animated female leaderheads to use as a base for mods?

I don't think anyone has made a brand new female LH yet. That's beyond my abilities or i would try it.

However, if you look thru my modpack, you'll find a few reskins of all the existing female LHs that you may be able to use. Some of them such as Isabella, Catherine, Hatshepsut, and Boudica have had their hair & hats removed or changed. Follow the link in my signature for preview images.
 
I have released an initial version of a "Mad Max" style post-apocalyptic total conversion mod which is up and running. You can download it from the thread shown in my sig. I have leaderhead graphics, but they are *lame*. I started with 75x50 pixel, two color gifs from a 1998 game.

I have searched through this thread and the download database and found a number of animated leaderheads which "sort of" work.

You can see my work in progress at this link. It shows screenshots of all the ones I have so far. There are three concepts I have, without graphics; there are 6-8 graphics I have, that I would like some modifications for. The details of the requests are in the link. You can get the existing files at this link, 55 MB download. In many cases I have chosen a background from one of the existing BTS LH; for those, I have not included the background file into the zip. It is in the BTS distribution.

If anybody has a skill for leaderheads or reskinning, and is interested in the post-apocalyptic genre, please come see my mod. If you can help with the graphics, it'd be great!
 
@amra: Thanks for the link. I had searched the download database and I found your Conan. Also, in your link, I am borrowing the same LH you have borrowed as "Alaric" and "Dido".

I hadn't seen the Salamasina LH (hatshepsut reskin). I can probably use that for my "wilma" character.

Do you have any interest in making some of these LH, or the LH I have found, into post-apocalyptic versions? Black leather, tattoos, mohawk hairstyles, etc? It would really help the "feel" of the game.

Thanks for the offer but to be honest, I just don't have the time. I'm doing a big push right now to finish up my own mod and "real life" has been a "real pain" lately. I'm sorry.

If you haven't done so already, you may want to post a request for leaderhead help in the creation & customization forum. You never know, someone may be able to help.

Thanks for letting me know. I did download your LH pack and I found another 6-8 things to use, so I am in much better shape. I even did my first minor "reskin".

This is going to sound really weird, but I think that Suryavarman's face might be a good base for Ataturk, with a hat of some sort transplanted into a suit body. It'd be very distinct, and even be kind of close to the pictures.

What you speak of is called XML work... anybody can do that (yourself included) quite easily, and you can even do that to existing leaders arleady in the game, or download any of the countless LHs already made and assign them whatever personality and traits you want.

Leaderhead requests are GRAPHICAL REQUESTS... what you do with an animated LH after it's made is up to you. The end-user can give it any traits he wants, or assign it to any civ...

LH Graphics and LH traits are two entirely different things, and one is not exclusive to the other.

Furthermore, you're requesting LHs for civs that only has one LH... you gave examples like Spain, Japan, Aztecs... well guess what... they all actually have MULTIPLE LHs already made for them... try using the SEARCH feature before asking for things that are already done.

Everything you have asked for is already at your fingertips.

Okay. I now have the information to request what I would like in a specific manner. I would like an animated leaderhead of Pushmataha (Chief of the Choctaw tribe). I'm thinking Frederick would probably be a good model to start from, based on the picture here.

Not only that, but somebody should make a King David that actually looks like the statue.
