LINES-World of Magic

Well, i just hope the stats update can keep the base economy and bonus points straight, because I can't at the moment.

*rubs hands, quotes Palpatine*

Great update, anyway.

Colonization Project: Sets up schools to teach my people to always want to go out and foudn a new city- double city founding rate, +1 education level

6 or 7 turns. It depends on my mood.

To: Tripolye and Illyria
From: Babylon

Will you join us in our conflict, and overthrow the decadent empire that is Ur? We would let you keep the Aegean and northern Anatolia, to be divided amongst yourselves if you do, and you shall forever be counted as our nation's greatest friends and allies.

To: Indus Empire
From: Babylon

Could you share with us the secret of Iron working? If you do so and join our war effort, we would allow you to keep all of Ur's lands east of the Tigris river, and we would never expand to the east of the Caspian sea. We would also give you one economy point for three turns, effective as soon as you start the war.

To: Khemri
From: Babylon

If you wish to join this conflict, don't plant vampires on our side again. We recently found and destroyed one of yours, trying to sabotage our army. We are aware of what you did to Abyssinia in the war, and if you do it to us, we will kill you so much that NO necromancy will bring as much as a finger back to life.

To: Abyssinia
From: Babylon

If you join this war on our side, you may have the coasts of Arabia up to Qatar.

To: Karthage
From: Babylon

Don't worry, any disruption to trade will be minimal, and we will continue trading with you once Ur's Mediterranean port is under our control.

To: All nations mentioned above
From: Ur

Don't listen to Babylon's lies! They have proven to be betrayers once before. Once Ur is gone, they will turn on you and retake their lands.

Iggy when are the rest of us supposed to enter Iron age,it seems education does crock(expensive as it is to upgrade it),even when mine is higer than mosts people.I want my money back then.

To Hawaii from Atlantica

Apparently we wasted our time trying to start a trade route with you! You are vile, evil henchmen of the dark gods and we will not aid you in the destruction of the evil you yourselves have surely created some way or another.

To Ross from Antarctica

Good fortune to you Penguins of Ross, we retire to our homes. Hopefully you will be able to deal with the northern evil yourself. We shall secure our borders an dshore up our nation from the inevitable northern attacks as they grow jealous of our peaceful lands. The men to the north and the penguins and humans to the south will NEVER ever see eye to eye on a most egregarious number of important issues!

... The Hawaiians forgot to start trade with us...
The blessings of freedom against the South American evil.

To Babylon and Ur
From Abyssinia
Abysssinia is a nation with very limited power. We can not take sides at this moment.

OOC: Iggy- How much would the project cost without education bonus?

Uh Toteone, Hawaii DID start trading with you. I didn't put it in the map because of an oversight. It's in my stats on my computer, and it'll be on the front page tomorrow.

Oh ok, huhmmm strange... well I guess that's just nice of them. :)

I rescind my comments, sorry about that all Rossians and Hawaiians.
We're a little nervous about the north I guess.

....

nah I'd just withdraw and let them handle the 'evil darkness' by themselves
not sure if I'll fight it anyway
Antarcticans mostly want to stay at home, ski and fly around with their gliders during the summer months. Maybe fish once in a while, or go to school.

I hadn't thought you'd let anarchy work out, must be 'paradise' down there...

^_^

To be honest, neither of them want ANY Khemri interfenence.

But...
To: Khemri
From: Babylon

If you can kill King Desh, we will give you the island of Cyprus. We also want a guarantee that you will leave nothing necromantic in what will soon be our lands.

To: Khemri
From: Ur

Please stay out of this.

Continue to invest my income into my economy.

They're living trees. They've been bred in captivity. Now they're being unleashed.

Oh, and Kal, Ur and Babylon have almost identical military and economic stats, only their locations are different.
