He's working on it. He has only two-three-four installments and a map left to do. Okay, so maybe that's actually a lot considering the size of said installments, but whatever.

This is the debut NES for the Three Type City System! Also, I like the idea of gradually expanding mostly-black maps.

The forum, at present, has a glut of magic/sci-fi threads. There's this, ENES, Darwin's, that Warcraft one, that Forgotten Realms one. Not to mention Gods of the Sky. Then we have two industrial Nes'es, one board NES, and one modern alt hist. There is only ONE fresh start currently running! (MjM's is on temporary hiatus, kinda. And Fin's is more of a throwback to olden times.)

The times they are a changin.... Not to mention, Iggy's bored and wants to take a break from LINES. No harm in that.

EDIT: I call that tiny island on the tip for my starting spot! Can't you just imagine it, 10 NES'ers duking it out in that tiny little space, with the winners forming great empires that eventually collapse, and the losers going on some huge Biblical exodus to a totally different Promised land...and then the new empires clash again...

I like this concept. It actually gives exploration meaning, because we don't know what the world looks like.

Ach, I still ask for more than one cradle. Or at least try to zoom in on the known part, and expand the frame of the map as civilizations spread out or emerge elsewhere. The current map won't allow more than five or six players in the beginning.

I think SOMEONE should start another thread for the new NES, and not clog the LINES thread with Tree Type City Systems and whatnot. I will report it to the forum MODs if this continues! No, seriously.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm technically only a lurker here, but what the heck. Noone cares. This entire forum is every NESers playground anyway.

What becomes of this NES? If Iggy wants to put it in stasis, I guess he should post a notification for all the players on this thread. After what I gather, he was tired of the entire affair anyway. I guess it will end up not unlike the UFOs* in my freezer at home. It remains forgotten for ages at the bottom of the box, gathering a coat of dust. (or ice, rather)
