LINESII- Into the Darkness

chip look at the map, if you wanted to establish a bunch of bladist nations, i would have given you the land i conquered in the war, rather than just give it up to emor.

Its an IC thing. Wilipo was a great expander, and Suwapa has turned his eyes to the rest of the world.

And Iggy, the word major was wrong.

Prologue

Risko had been an inquisitor since he was 15, and his father had been before him. Since the Oneist Expulsion, the inquisition has had much less to do. Wilipo even considered disbanding them in his dieing days. But they had crushed the Cult of Chip, which held that the Ascendant Patriarch of the Chips Bloodline was the son of the Blademaster. They had been exterminated with flame and bronze.

But Suwapa had been interested in a things theological since he was a boy. He would routinely tag along with Inquisition missions. He was keenly interested in all things Heretical. He had memorized all the Books of Bladeism by an early age. He had then secretly delved into banned prophecies and gospels. Risko remembered the Ig Ea Cult ordeal very well.

Suwapa was but a young man, dissassuaded by his fathers new marriage and newer heir. On an Inquisition Intelligence mission, he had been captured by members of the Ig Ea cult. By the time they had reached their stronghold, Suwapa was babbling about a power greater thn the Blademaster, who wrote history and made the world. A man who controlled fate and the world. The inquisition has slaughtered all members of the sidious cult.

But the scars still held with Suwapa, who held heretical notions to this day, even with the massive retraining he had received. He collected heretical books, because versed in the scriptures of Crystalism and Oneism. But no one could know, fo he was the Hegemon, the Ascendant Master.

But a new threat swept throughout the land, not organized enough to be included in stats, but enough to threaten the stability of Swade Soceity. Samusism, the religion of hell.

Ah. I'm not ashamed. I was pretty mad ealier at outside events and I don't know that many people who are glad at the edarication of three months of work. I'm not mad. I understand your decisions (even through I don't agree with them) and I'll go with them. And I hold no grudges, in case you're wondering. Just like I said, outside events didn't make it any prettier. And the fact you said "Over in one year" :mischief:

As for my options, I don't want to lead a NPC. Nothing good comes from me ever taking one over. And I doubt I'd be able to hold the two mountains if I couldn't even hold the rest over with 3x troops. So I'll just pull a TerrisH.

You could make another nation in the northwest. Or close to Trinlin or that new one. :)

There are a few places you could go... Anywhere on the map actually.

And I'm sorry about that 'one year' thing. In retrospect, it would have likely been a bit longer. But the 'one year conquest' would be an interesting thing to look back at in a few hundred years. How did the Lengels do it so fast?

Good planning, numbers, and the luck of the gods ;)

...plus a helping hand from the Keranians. ;)

Silver, why aren't you updating?

iggy when are u guessing you can finish stats and everything

Can people try to stay on topic here? Sheesh!

I'm already pretty sure of where I'll head. I'll have (at least I hope I will) a story up before the update.

Stats (not including update events) are updated to Khemri. Anyone who tries to point out a stat error will lose a confidence level. Wait until I'm done to criticize it.

Just wondering... On the most recent map, is Trinlin now in its geographically accurate location, and is Aithea not in its geographically accurate location?

They're islands in the darkness. Have you noticed that Trinlin has been moving around? Once it has made contact with another civilized nation, its location will become clear.

Same for Aithea.

Okay. I figured Trinlin loked like it was now in a reasonable location, looking at teh surrounding geography, so it might not be moving any more.

Also, could you tell which Kehex city is which? Kexoudau I know, obviously, but I don't know which is which among the others.

Actually, Iggy, is a map with city names too much to ask for - or can you do it?

I would like that too.

Thirded. And I bet there will be more voices like this one.
