Don't be so pessimistic. I can use Croyodon as a supply port and send some ships from the northern extreme (where the sea should be less wide, granted that this is a globe, more so if the sea resembles RL Pacific) Plus Gorin has allowed the refugees to stay for as long as possible, so I have virtually no time limit. But it would sure be good to have my own nation again.
