LuckNES V

OOC: Luckymoose: I have a question. How many men are in an infantry division?

Another question: Why is it that when I highlight the sentence you wrote it says Silly Silly Man? And why don't I see it without highlighting it?

Lucky, I just noticed this:
I'm currently paying Quebec for improved airplanes, and the 2 IC I used last turn were supposed to go to them, not to research.

That would be setting text colour to the background colour.

@qoou- Sorry, I missed the orders deadline last turn, so you didn't get it.

Quel devrions-nous recherche cette annee? (What do we need to research this turn?)

From: Rhenish Confederacy
To: France

The Confederacy would like to ask the France its position on the continuing freedom of the Rhenish Confederacy.

From: Rhenish Confederacy
To: Mexico and America

The Rhenish Government natrually supports the Mexican's government’s anti-communist drive. Socialist and Communist Agitators were amongst the only members of the Rhenish Parliament to oppose the freedom of the Rhineland from France and many openly attempted to betray their own for the Tyrants Affection.

We would wish to remind the American government that it has instituted its own anti-communist drive and has mandated that communists must be registered with the Government.

From: Rhenish Confederacy
To: Sweden

The Rhenish Confederacy asks Sweden to reconsider its invasion of British Norway and would like to remind Sweden that its invasion and annexation of Finland has not been forgotten in some quarters and never will be. The Rhenish Confederacy would like to consider Sweden to be her Germanic Brother in arms not a foe fighting with a Tyrant for her own gain.

OOC: Lucky hope my PM didnt come completely out of the blue but its on my proposal/story that we discussed earlier. I forgot to put it properly into context so you have my sincere apoligies for doing that.

To: Quebec

We are currently researching Armored Cars. After this, the USA suggests researching Early Tanks.

I'm afraid I don't understand your message at all. Do you wish to inform us that you have begun an anti-Communist drive of your own? Or do you wish to remind us of our own actions - something which we can do ourselves, thank you.

From: Rhenish Confederacy
To: America

No we would like to remind America that it has instituted its own measures to slow Communism and that objecting to Mexico's efforts is hypocritical in the extreme.

To Rhenish Confederacy
From France

You used hostile measures to gain your freedom, France will now force the German people to submit before their true master unless the Germans wish to admit their mistakes and return to the French Empire as a Vassal again.

Until then, France is at war with the Rhenish Confederacy, and the British Empire is losing, better choose your true loyalties and France may let bygones be bygones.

Sure you may have a powerfull line of defence, but that makes little difference to France, we can simply starve you into submission. Do you believe Prussia will stand by your side when the British have been taken care of and the full might of France moves East? Britain is losing, one just has to look at the world and see what is happening. Britain is stretching themselves way too thin in Africa and the Italian front is already ours, it is just a simple measure of forcing the British to understand that. Again I tell you, choose who your loyalties lie with.

To: France
From: Rhenish Confederacy

We would advise the French to consider their words with greater caution. For we are Germans but you must not forget that so are many others, ties of German Brotherhood are a surer bond than French Force.

And from our perspective we only see a French Fleet hiding in Port and a French Army fighting on as many fronts as the English and we see scant hope of France gaining any assistance in a conflict. You may fight us on the Rhine.

A widely circulated pamphlet in the German States:

Necessity compelled this pamphlet to be written in secrecy; the necessity of a Tyrant Emperor ruling his fellow man and his fellow Monarchs like that of God and exercising his power without conscience or common sense.

When we are exposed to miseries by a Monarch, which we might expect in a country without a Monarch, the calamity of the people is great; for we must reflect that we furnish the means by which we suffer. We are reminded that Monarchs in there best form and Monarchs in there worst forms create distinction. The first a patron, the second a punisher. Punishers, like dress, are the badges of lost innocence; the palaces of Punishers are built upon the bowers of Paradise. But we ask ourselves how do we know a Patron from a Punisher in the experience of this humble author he only knows of two examples. But two the reader might ask, only two does the author have any degree of experience around.

One is the paragon of the Patron, the truest man of virtue, the stoutest of hearts and noblest of Monarchs. The other hides behind a smokescreen obscuring his true visage behind a guise of a Patron which the careful reader will be able to discern to be a false mask and to see him as the Punisher he is.

The Patron is His Majesty Wilhelm II, King of Prussia and Prince of Hohenzollern. All Germans know of him, his qualities are impeccable, his rule enlightened, his nation prosperous, his people content and his justice true. No argument need be tendered by this humble author about these for every true German knows this to be true.

The Punisher the inscrutable Devil in man’s guise, the false Monarch, the Betrayer of Man and the affront before God, Napoleon V; hopefully the last of his Peasant Dynasty to bestride the world. His qualities are readily apparent from his own words, “France will now force the German people to submit before their true master” he says does not your pride in your Brother Germans burn at this. But again he presses against all Germans sensibilities “unless the Germans wish to admit their mistakes”, WE tell you Napoleon that the only mistake WE the people made was not defeating your deranged Ancestor the First Peasant Emperor. He threatens not just our men but our wives’ and children, “we can simply starve you into submission.” WELL we shall see for the Germans will not give a step of Germany to your EVIL, your arrogance or your benighted people.

We Submit to the people a most important CHOICE to survive the Hordes of Frogs or to Bow Before their Peasant Emperor who threatens us all so. This CHOICE for Survival is not difficult all we must do is put all our TRUST in the House of Hohenzollern, in Wilhelm II. We must trust in his steady hands to lead all Germans from the formerly occupied Rhineland, to the Occupied Tyrol of Austria to the streets of Berlin to the pure Mountains of Bavaria. We propose a Union of German states with Wilhelm as Emperor of the Germans a title the French took from us. FOR A GERMAN UNION.

OOC: I thought a pamphlet format would be better than a standard story.

ooc: If Britain is blockading any shipments into France, wouldn't France's economy be quickly collapsing as raw materials begin to disappear?

Mexico asks the Rhenish Confederacy to mind its own beeswax and stay out of American affairs, especially as it will likely soon be absorbed into the Prussian Union.

when r orders due?
