As an Actor you'd have to act like you're an unregistered user who visits the Civ IV forums often but has yet to join CivFanatics and start posting. I can help you act because I'm good at telling people what to do.

First, imagine that you really like Civilization IV because it's the best game in the entire series. Now imagine you enjoy reading threads here because there are so many interesting topics. Sometimes you think to yourself what it would be like to to respond to those posts with your own thoughts. This stems from a deep childhood desire to talk about Civ IV with other people who like Civ IV.

Lately, you've noticed an influx of high quality posts from a user named plastiqe. As an Actor portraying a Lurker this will be your main motivation for visiting CivFanatics on a daily basis to see what new things plastiqe has posted. You agree with plastiqe all the time because he is always right. Plus, you want some cake.

Timsup2nothin, start with that and do some mental exercises where you visualize in your mind what it would be like to portray a Lurker. You can do research for your role by going to other forums where you aren't a member and Lurking there.

You had me right up to where you said 'mental exercises'. My mental is more of a couch dweller than an exerciser. Clearly it would prefer a mental piece of cake. I have heard that 'the cake will make you fat', and being mentally fat seems appealing.

If you're not willing to act for it I don't see how I can give you the cake. There is only a limited supply and that is only for actors who give a convincing lurker portrayal and real lurkers who sign up and start posting on CivFanatics. I have to say your chances were pretty slim to begin with because I've never seen you act before and you're obviously lousy at following direction.

Actually, come to think of it I do know where there is some cake you could have because there is free cake for members of the K-Mod Fan Club social group. It helps if you like K-Mod but they have plenty of cake there so they won't mind if you have some; in fact you could even have seconds.
