Marians: Sons of Mars

put 36 into army, rest into infrastructure.

we send one army to squish the rebels, not bothering to negotiate with them. "look, i was tired ok?" the Emperor added to the shocked senate.

(taoism spread to Canada? so, what, do we need to believe in the force or something (Jedi and Taoism are similar)

No, it merely spread to British Columbia. Canada still remains pagan. ;)

Thanks for the boost :)

Money Matters
+200 bonus
+53 income
+7.2 treasury
=260.2
-36 Infa 4
-45 Infa 5
-54 Infa 6
-63 Infa 7 (completed)
= -198
=62.2 remaining.

-26 Diplo 3 (completed)
-30 Mil 3 (completed)
= 6.2

1 gold into diplo 4, 1 into Infa 8, and 1 into Mill 4 (placemarkers).

The remaining 2.2 into the treasury.

I choose the power Superior Engineers ( Civics 3, Infra 7) - +10% to national income.

I claim 5 territories in the unclaimed Northwest.

I ask the Aztecs for a trade agreement.

No spy actions.

Iberia earns 78 income, and 200 in tech credit. 64 of the tech credit goes to finishing Civ 6. 76 goes to earning Civ 7. 60 credits left to go, and that's combined with 27 income to yield Civ 8. With 51 income remaining, we donate 10 to Lombardia's Infra research. 33 finishes Army 3. 8 income remains, and this is combined with our treasury to form 14 gold. 13 is donated to Lombardia's Infra program, while the remaining 1 is donated to our own Infra program.

Iberia currently has 7 colonial territories, but Iberia alone supports 28 colonies. We can claim 95 pixels away due to our techs, and as such, we colonise one territory in Cape Verde, one in Sierra Leone, and one in Andorra.

----

Aztecs accept the trade agreement.

The Aztec Empire needs those territories, as they allow us to maintain relations with the great Amazonian Empire. As such, we must politely decline any transaction.

East Rome invades Syria with all armies (Whatever that NPC is called) Wait, I need a Casus Belli...Anyway, East Rome puts 120 tech credit into Infra, 50 into Military and 10 into Civics.

30 gold goes into the treasury, the rest into Civics.

I assume Austria is yellow, but who is the gun-blue to the east?

Germany will increase to Civics 5 (40 gold), Military 5 (30 + 40 gold), Diplomacy 5 (40 gold) and Infrastructure 6 (44 + 54 gold). That should leave 18 gold to remain in my treasury, allowing me to send a diplomat to Austria with 5 gold as a gift to maintain our excellent relations.

The Anglo-Pictish Expedition has (finally) found land to claim and has done so.

Put 10 Gold into Mil 4 and then put the rest into the next Diplo tech.

That would be Kiev, the founders of Judaism and thus a religious power.

That land is too far away for you to claim, but I did put 200+ gold into your Diplo tech; you now know anybody who's 150 pixels away. This means you can communicate with all of Europe and the fringes of Asia and Africa too! ...which also means you get full religious exposure.

Hmm. Looks like British Imperialism will wait.

im making my request official:

@new england: do your people and/or government want to be annexed by Canada?

Let's calculate some things...

Canada attacks its Rebels

1-23
15-27
11-18

Caribbean vs. Rebels

12-25
6-24

Congo vs. Rebels

22-21

Novgorod vs. Rebels

28-14

Norway vs. Rebels

6-19

India vs. Rebels

14-12

Na-Na-Nine vs. Rebels

12-4

S-pore vs. Rebels

2-5
6-1

Canada attempts to annex New England

Relations +2(+1 Vassal + 2 Same faith -1 Protectionism) = +4%. 14% chance of annexation.

66. Annexation rejected; Canada can try again next turn.

oh. well at least i squished the rebels... wait, if the numbers are correct, all three armies lost...:(

You can always try again next turn! Both with crushing the rebels and annexation...

In the meantime, the Canadian rebels march unopposed into Labrador, unifying it with Newfoundland.

Yes - your navies will now keep one of their armies - they have two since they're Newfoundland-Labrador nationalists and have captured one of their core provinces - bottled up in Newfoundland. The Labrador army will remain at large, however.

Your fleet is en route to PR, but can only move one square per turn at the moment. (I've decided to make the system simple - Every 5 military tech adds +1 to your base movement of 1, with open ocean territories costing 2 points rather than 1 to move through)

The PR rebels desire independence for Puerto Rico.
