Mass Effect [Game Thread - Concluded]

I want to lynch BSmith

I want to dance on his cold, dismembered boody.

Anyway, information for all concerned: I was polular tonight; I was attacked, and I was targeted by other unpleasant action too

Host, are the players under Thorian control allowed to participate this round?

For those questioning my contribution to the game, it's rather difficult to get a handle on a game on a new site, with players you don't know after being unable to participate for a large part of the opening phase due to game mechanics (no criticism of host intended). None of the people FOSing me have suggested why low contribution makes me likely to be a wolf, just that it's bad. So we vote off bad players rather than look for actual baddies? Nice strategy.

lynching inactive players is better than random lynch. It serves two purposes:
1. prevents mafia player to win by 'lying low' for entire game
2. pressures all players to be more active, which (a) lets town use collective wisdom; (b) increases chances of mafia slipping; and last but not least (c) increasing fun factor of the game.

So, the policy of lynching inactive players is not bad IMO. Of course, it can become bad when overused or used instead of legitimate scum hunting (or when game mechanics interferes with it... but such mechanic is rare)

Just vote like southernking or something

Like that red spy bandwagon was ridiculous

I agree that we must try to save our comrades.

Its good to see Tali participating. MartinLuther on the other hand, has said nothing since night 3.

Not sure about BSmith. My suspicion of him yesterday proved unwarranted, but Jarrema may have other good reasons behind his vote, though if so, I do not see them.

Yep, save our comrades. Leave no man behind.

I am going to stick to my guns with Autolycus.

Vote: Jarrema

Don't remember reading a convincing defence/rebuttal when he was under suspicion.

As for voting inactive players. We seem to have had active wolves most nights, would non-marine team players really be active at night and not post during the day and get away with it? Sounds odd. Why play the game then. I guess I am just used to a different mentality.

Save the slaves, we need every marine we can get.

Reviewing votes from all the days.
Votes from day 2 with order in the vote in parentheses:
auto:civgeneral (5)
bsmith: none
Daird: none
e50: none
Frozen: Jarrema(6)
Jarrema: Frozen (8)
mat93: civgeneral (18)
mech: takhisis (14)
southernking: takhisis (7)
spaceman: e350 (4)
tali: unconscious
winston: auto (15)

Thoughts based on day 2: Jarrema and Frozen voted each other before the civgeneral wagon, so probably not both scum.
spaceman voted e350 early, so likely not scum with e350.
mat93 late on the civgeneral wagon.

I'm going to continue my crusade from yesterday on e350tb. His votes for Red Spy and Takhisis were easy bandwagon votes that would be perfect for not drawing attention to himself if he is scum. After some early suspicion on him he seems to be trying to run under the radar.
