It's enough if you say: both LHs shouldn't be used in the same mod, as they have similar face and the animations are pretty much the same

Sounds good. This option seems the most favoured one and has some advantages too. People get the LH they expected and i have much less work. All happy-->

"Shouldn't"... If people like both LHs they will use both if they don't care for such stuff (and many don't care), I mean, look at CivGold - half of the LHs there have the same face and use the same animations.
Both LHs should definitely be released. Aelia Pulcheria should be released as Aelia Pulcheria, the second LH should be released as the second LH, whoever she is.

I agree mostly. People can do what they want with their modifications. If they want 10 reskins of Isabella, fine, go ahead. And it's true, most people don't care anyways.
Before i have started creating LHs if have noticed hardly any flaw.
Problem is, now i notice mostly every little clipping, texture, shader, transparency error and it annoys me. Similarities too. Especially by my own stuff.
Therefore i only release LHs i'm happy with and think i can't improve them anymore.
This may sounds stupid, but it's hard for me to release stuff i have the feeling i didn't gave my best.

But maybe you are right. It isn't really that important. Okay okay, i will release her, but only without a seal of quality.
Gosh, why is this so hard for me.

Aelia Pulcheria is finally uploaded.

I haven't double-checked everything as i normally do. So if there are any problems let me know. Also let me know what you think.
There are still some minor problems, but hopefully nothing really serious. If you encounter anything major, tell me and i will see what i can do.

Well, technically, this IS the Firaxis version, only it is the Civ 5 version of Yekaterina. Great job with this LH. Too bad you showed up only now, when I no longer play Civ IV, I would've definitely used your LHs.

I'm quite surprised that people like a new version of her or even are willing to change Catherine's Leaderhead. I thought her original LH is well-liked.

But i'm not sure i will do another LH like this. As you may have mentioned you can see a lot more from her body as normally. The animations aren't done for this. I had to rescale seperate body parts (head, body, arms) diffrently to fit the correct proportions and adjust all animations. The sleeves and the skirt had so many clipping issues that i needed to compromise. Keep in mind you not only need to make sure there are no clipping in the actual animation. You have to care about the transitions between them aswell. Example: greetings ---> pleased ---> 1. action affirmative or 2. action negative
That's a lot of combinations.
Therefore some animations looks a bit off or could be much better. But's the best i could do.

Anyway, i'm not sure it's worth the effort, i think i will do more simple reskins in the future.


Edit: Normally i don't ask for help, but in this case i need your support. I want to change the default camera rotation. It cost me a lot of time which i can't spend in something i'm good at. So if you are good at coding it would be nice if you could take a look. Thanks.

No, you can't import them. But it's possible to get these meshes into blender.
