Did you bother reading my post? I didn't say anything about going out into the street and shooting people at random or anything like it. But pacifism is the certain road to ruin. Its obvious results are docility and stagnation. As for killing people, it is rarely possible to get anything done at all without certain "excesses".

Either way, we should get back to our dolphins and insane NESers. IMHO dolphins are a rising world power, though it is unclear on whose side are they in the eternal polar bear-penguin war. As for insane NESers, they make things more interesting.

And as for Hitler, re-read Dune (third book, don't remember how it's called...). There was a good episode there which portrays the way future generations will probably perceive Hitler.

I should think we are the future generations. Btw. I never applauded pacifism... and yes, the dolphins are elegant creatures.
