Multiplayer livestream Thursday Oct. 20

"Has" produced? I thought it was "can" produce. So if you don't build newly teched ranged units, your cities will be highly vulnerable.

Perhaps you're right.... I wonder if it's in the manual.

manual p. 86 said:
CITIES FIRING AT ATTACKERS
Once a city has constructed Walls, it will gain a Ranged Combat Strength equal to its full Strength at the start of combat. It may attack any one enemy unit within that range. Note that the city’s Ranged Combat Strength doesn’t decline as the city takes damage; it remains equal to the city’s initial Strength until the city is captured.

I wonder who's correct?

That stream was great fun. Multiplayer looks good, and the scenarios look fun. Just hope it's as stable over the internet as in LAN.

I might have understood this wrong but in the scenario they played I think it should not be wonders built for the score but wonders owned at the end of the last turn.

Domination win not possible in that scenario.

However, going for Carl's capital was still the right move, as it would have put them ahead in the wonder count and given them the game. They didn't have enough time to do it though.

Disappointed to not see an integrated "pbem" option.
We'll probably have to stick with GMR to help with that (if they can support Civ 6)
