The Flag for Spartacus Operatives and Revolutionaries in Sulawesi, now the new National Flag.​

As obvious by the change of the Kingdom of Sulawesi to the Spartacus State of Sulawesi, we played a major role in the revolution. Thanks to us and the people of Sulawesi, over 20,000 people have been liberated from the shackles of slavery and justice has been served to those who enslaved them.

We note that Sulawesi is under our protection, attacking Sulawesi will set you in your line of sight. We also would like to appeal the Crimson Republic directly. A military incursion within your sphere of influence and quite close to your borders would indeed be scary and that you are probably considering a military response to this situation. However, you would notice that in the revolution your assets were not seized, in fact Spartacus agents took special care to ensure that foreign assets were undamaged. Although your forebears did found the major slave trade within Asia, you currently are not trading in any slaves. As such we are not going after you, we are instead after your clients. It would be simpler for the both of us if you simply used your influence to end slavery within Asia. Do note however that if you attempt to attack Sulawesi, then we will destroy you.

On another note, we also demand the immediate release of any and all members or associates of Spartacus imprisoned by all nations.

Violence in Burgundy! A mixture of democratic and nationalist protestors took to the streets in Burgundy, particularly in counties that were experiencing heavy American military presence. Crying “Yankees go home!” they pelted the soldiers with rocks and some even fired at them with contraband weapons; peaceful protestors were likewise scaling fences or trying to organize sit-ins at American military bases. The tragedy has led to 400 dead American soldiers and 2,000 dead Burgundians. There is naturally a great deal of debate over how to approach the issue; while the Americans only were defending themselves, many Burgundians are nonetheless lobbying the government to reduce the American garrison; given the government’s fascist leanings, it is unlikely such lobbying will be of any use.

Occitania is outraged by this shameful massacre of innocent civilians. We demand that all New American forces withdraw from Burgundy at once. Occitania further declares that the Dictator of Burgundy is failing to pay attention to the wishes and needs of his people, and that he should rethink his declaration of himself as Emperor of All France.

The state offers to pay 1/50 of a revenue point to the family of each slain peaceful protestor, or approximately 2 million francs for each of the bereaved to cover funereal expenses and such. We also place an invoice with New America for the 40 revenue this entails, as is quite obviously fair considering it was their forces who slaughtered women and children seeking only to protest in a bloody massacre.

We congratulate the United France Party on their victories in Brittany, and hope for a closer relationship in the future. We also deplore the rising violence in Lusitania and implore that all sides bear in mind the events in Burgundy.

Finally, it is Occitania's desire to reiterate the demand that the 19,600 New American soldiers stationed in Burgundy retreat home. They are no longer welcome.

If Burgundy will stand by idly while her people are murdered by foreign invaders, Occitania understands completely why the Emperor is in love with his title. Occitania will remain content with the title as Janitor of France, if you insist on titles.

Yes? Our men were attacked. I am sorry, but attacking the fort of a military with contraband weapons generally precedes a response from said military force. We are sincerely sorry for the loss of life on both sides. However the citizens of Burgundy, and in fact all humans have the right of free will and the right to exercise it; they used that right to free will to attack a military fort. Casualties are generally expected when doing crimes of that magnitude.

The Illumination is concerned about the activities of New America. We had been unaware of the degree of duplicity which this state had engaged in. Especially the significance of their policies on slavery. Under these circumstances we are suspending our treaty with them until such time as they become a non slave holding nation.

We did not come to this decision lightly but after significant consideration after we were made aware of their actions.

We are also concerned about certain behavioral issues involving their leaders.

We are deeply sorry The Illumination feels this way, however we understand the leaders recently came to power. We do not enslave people other than those that conspired to create an attempt on the previous president's life, a widespread conspiracy intended to coup the newly assembled government. In response we rounded up all the Mole Men as the conspiracy was essentially in the process of creating a national Mole Men rising simultaneously. For these treasonous actions they were cast into slavery.

We have told Chicago and others that we would be willing to release them if a Mole Men state was created or if they would be purchased. However we maintain that a nation can do as a nation will as it is the nation that makes laws, not rogue terrorist organizations like Spartacus.
