20 turns of peace have been broken, persian airforce as declared war on the Celts :D

Several tiles around Mongontiacun were bombed, city is now isolated from road network but not from trade.

20 turns of peace have been broken, persian airforce as declared war on the Celts :D

I can't express with words what I think about such an action . I'd risk to get banned from this forum...

This kind of :backstab: is not my style of play...

You could have rejected by offer of peace and of course I wouldn't have minded, as I started the war.

But this is simply poor :nono:

Either we will turn this back, or I will drop from the game...

Ok i will send 1000 gold back....but may i remind you that you were the one attacking me and that i have the right to defend myself...and i did not request that you send gold or anything....:D

Now that the war as turned, you acuse Persia of treachury, no no no...that is a bit lamme...

You accepted 20 turns of peace (Now it seems just to grab the 1000 gold I offered). I am not an AI opponent, which you can just re-declare and nothing happens...

This has nothing to do defending, as you are attacking one turn after we agreed on a peace treaty!!!

I have no problem with losing a game, you can believe me (and actually I am far away from losing this one...), but this is not the point, as I tried to explain you...

And you can't give me back my money without a peace treaty!!

I expect a kind of honorable play in this game...

Very well i´ll send the gold and a peace offer back, but when the 20 turns are over be prepared....:P

You really only should attempt a :backstab: if you are willing to suffer the consequences.

The order of events is:

1st - my spy detects an huge invasion force from celts
2nd - i plan a defense ahead with coastal bloking
3rd - i´m invaded with marines and tanks
4th - i use bombers and art to soften up and with 20 tanks and 3x multiple attacks plus infantry upgrades to mech infntry i kill the entire invading stack..

Add i not done this i would be being devasted by Celts by now...so my question is why should i play by the agressors rules when he was the one that wanted to destroy me? as i see things, i know have the right for counter attack and i saw no rule aganist treachury...

Your display of events is correct, but you miss the most important thing here:

- I offered a peace treaty (aloong with 1000 gold pieces).
- You accepted the peace treaty
- One turn later you break the treaty

War is naturally a part of this game and nobody must be  when attacked, but I think that it is not only my opinion that this style is bad behavior.

By the way: Nobody complained when you replayed a turn just because you forgot to move some units...

But I do not want to stress this anymore.

Please resend your turn without declaring war. There is no need to send back the 1000 gold.

And be sure that I will be prepared for a war in 20 turns :salute:

Ok i will replay the turn tommorrow....

I don´t have time to play this anymore...i need a replacement

I am replacing Hasdrubal, he told me to get the save from bathsheba

edited according to request, working on save

Played the turn now, really i sympathise with hasdrubal, i barely managed to keep my finger away from the war button
