NBA Playoff Thread...predictions and more

As a rule, I don't really like [anybody]-Jordan comparisons. :p

Same here... :)

But really, Jordan was so clutch in his career, while LeBron is anything but clutch. I just can't seen how LeBron can ever compare to Jordan while he sucks in big games and defers to Wade in the closing minutes of a Finals game. In fact, a Wade-Jordan comparison makes more sense to me than a LeBron-Jordan comparison.

Needless to say neither LeBron or Wade is even close to Jordan though...

LeBron has always been a good closer.

Bosh and Wade were hitting shots so they ran the offense through Wade and Bosh. Are you really going to blame a team with three elite players for letting one of them take the last shot?

LeBron destroyed the Chicago series while Wade was nowhere to be seen. Hes been the best, most consistent player during the whole playoff run except for the last two games. The media hysteria following one good performance and one subpar performance is ridiculous. Sportswriters were calling his game six triple double a choke last year. Major sports news coverage of the NBA is absolutely terrible.

I don't have a problem with calling Bron clutch. He's had better crunch-time stats than Kobe for a couple years now, for instance. (Not that that's necessarily saying much.) Normally, he is pretty consistent. That game was just an off performance; he wasn't nearly aggressive enough, seemed detached, and it cost them. If Miami wins the series and James shows up to play in Game 6 (or Game 7, if there is one), the eight point game will be irrelevant.

I do think Wade is kinda being consistently overlooked in these Playoffs, but eh.

Dirk has outscored LeBron 44 to 8 in the 4th for the series.

Mavs are owning the 4th. Point totals in the last 6 minutes.
Game One: Miami 17, Dallas 15
Game Two: Dallas 20, Miami 5
Game Three: Dallas 12, Miami 7
Game Four: Dallas 11, Miami 7

Total: Dallas 58, Miami 36
Heck, it took the Heat having big first game to even get to 36!

Meanwhile, Dirk keeps adding to his legend status with that 102 fever game. No way anyone can call him soft.

I dunno, I thought Bron Bron was pretty comparable to Jordan Farmar last night.

I don't even care if lebron scores a combined 100 points in game 6 and 7 in the 4th quarter, after this he can never be a clutch player.

Yes yes yessssssssssssssssss

This serious has taken about two years off my life but its so worth it.
EDIT:
People are going to call him a choke even thoughLebrone got a triple-double AGAIN.

Double EIT: Also theres rumors that Rashard Lewis got caugh with LeBron's girlfriend. Are we in a timewarp or what.

I can't believe that we might be one game away from Mark Cuban holding the O'Brien Trophy. This is surreal.

Miami wins 2 in a row at home, LeBron hits the GW shot in Game 7.

Im hoping Dallas wins, and now that its 3-2 I am pretty sure they can steal another one in miami.

after this year miami is going to be winning alot...they will all get their rings

but I really want to see kidd and nowitzki get rings this might be their last chance

also as far as the lebron vs jordan fiasco

Jordan is a much better defender than Lebron.

You cant argue with 6 rings. Lebron has time left in his career and can eventually be comparable to Jordan but atm no sane person can say that Lebron is better than Jordan..just look at the stats. Lebron is a slightly better passer and rebounder..but defensively he is no where near Jordans prowess...and Jordan was also better offensively (he does have the highest NBA PPG average all-time)

Lebron will need about 6 more NBA MVP and a few seasons with 35 PPG average to catch up. Oh...and some rings
