I think I'll like very much how this plays.

But as a "fan" of Nepal, I'm very disappointed thematically. No pagodas? Neither as improvement, building/district nor wonder? No Durbar Square of any kind? A modern power station as improvement? 1500 year old Buddhist Bodnath for a modern largely Hindu Nepal (which is somewhat famed for is religious and cultural tolerance, but still)? Ew.

But hey, obviously, no pagodas just means that Kathmandu Valley/Malla Kingdom in Exploration is practically confirmed, right?

Still, great to see Nepal included (finally!) and looking forward to play them!

Where did you find that image
\steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VII\DLC\nepal\modules\movies

It's the same thing for other DLC civs. However, Ada Lovelace is the first leader not to have a movie in the files it would appear.

That wonder is super lame, hope it changes.
I hope it overflows the Relationship and causes everyone to drop nukes on the player

Diplomatic, Gurkha, Sherpa's... more or less what I expected. Very mountain heavy, but different yields than the Incans, which means the pipeline from Incans into Nepali as Pachacuti should be very powerful.

LOVE that one of their Civics is just the Nepali word for Mount Everest <3

A Modern Scout... how utterly useless.
I don’t think you’re wrong, but I think a clever player could use the search function in combo with an invasion to get some intel on enemy troops besides just the commander espionage action. I do think if the scout is going to exist in Modern though, it needs some kind of Modern age ability to make it viable/show the importance of recon

A Modern Scout... how utterly useless.
If I read all the abilities correctly then they can possibly auto build a unique improvement upon any mountain tile that they claim, while also moving through said mountain tiles. That's pretty big.

I like it as long as the map scripts add enough mountains. At least in my experience they are way too rare...
And Highlands too... and Hi altitude lakes too... and natural slope direction for all tiles so rivers won't "climb" uphill in autogenerative maps...
